Brilliant cafe and meeting place! Welcoming atmosphere, the cakes are delicious and the toys for little ones and tennis facilities are great. Gemma is an incredible host too. Well worth a visit

Lots of squirrels! A good size park mostly used for dog walkers. Unfortunately the toilets are often locked but you can ask to use the gingerbread cafe.

Lovely park with several cafes, with the Gingerbread cafe very close to one of the entrances to the park. The park is not too far from the railway station and quite close to the old town. I was there on a very hot Saturday and the park was not too crowded and was still lovely and green. There are a few areas of shade when it's hot and quite a few benches to sit and rest. Lots of activities are available, for instance, there are tennis courts and bowling greens. I had a quick meal in the Gingerbread Cafe and the food was tasty and not too expensive. There were lots of umbrellas up to shield from the hot sun. Great place to have a rest and a bite to eat, close to the new and old parts of town.

Everything a town park should be. Loads of room for children to run around, beautiful planted and wild areas. Clearly valued as a dog walking facility. The playpark is great, especially for younger children, with plenty of equipment. It's tidy and respected by the many people that use it. The cafe is an added bonus.

Always been my favourite park since I was little. Lovely gardens. Lots of places too sit and soak up the sunshine. Tennis courts. 2 lovely cafes. Lots of places too park if you drive and bus stops opposite top entrance if you don't.

Fabulous park ~ my dog's favourite place too. Lovely walks and picnic spots. I don't use the restrooms, so can't comment on them. Same as the playground, however there are always squeals of delight from the children in there.

Lovely space with areas to relax, play games, or walk the dog. It has a good children’s playground, the choice of two cafes, free tennis courts, and the secluded Manor Gardens tucked away by Gildredge House at the back. The best bit for me is the number of Cherry Blossoms. The park loses a star for the toilet facilities which are in a state of disrepair and dirty, and the grassed areas were overgrown.

Quite a nice park in the Eastbourne area. Plenty of space. A little coffee shop , tennis courts and children's playground. Clean. Lots of space for individuals or families. Well maintained grasses, trees and hedges. Toilet facilities available. Wheelchair accessible Trees and wildlife to enjoy. I noticed an abundance of squirrels and birds on every visit to enjoy whilst relaxing or doing physical activity. Well displayed directions and various entry points with parking available too. Great park for all in the area or to visit. Fabulous cherry trees now in bloom.

Loved this space, all the way back as a kid. Now I bring my children here, especially to see the squirrels.
