Went there for a meal this evening with my girlfriend and the food was very tasty, staff really helpful and friendly. I'm here on holiday so didn't know much about the place but there were quite a few people there so I'm guessing it's reasonably popular generally. The reason it's only getting 4 stars is that they made a couple of mistakes with our food but rectified the problems quickly and without fuss.
And, also, big qudos to the staff (bit lacking in staff numbers on the night we went) for failing to rise to two women who complained about everything from the get go - presumably to try and negotiate a discount. Really poor behaviour but very well managed by the staff so well done!
At the time of writing, under new management as The Nepalese Kitchen.
Polite and welcoming host and very good food, reasonably priced.
Deserves to succeed, so if you’re in Eastbourne, give a it a fair chance - we really enjoyed it.
Delicious Nepalese food (so less sugary/fatty than a typical 'Indian' curry). Friendly service yet unobtrusive. Decor nice too. Good sundries (naan). Six of us ate for under £100, including drinks - so fairly priced too. Recommended.
Best curry house in Eastbourne town centre - and has been for over twenty years. Great value, proper curry house. No "fancy neuveau" dishes, just good quality favourite dishes and a good selection of chef's specials. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for a great curry!
The decorations make it feel as though you've been transported to India, the food is exquisite (fairly confident to say the best curry house in Eastbourne). The customer service was first class, we attended during their 25th anniversary and was welcomed with a glass of complimentary champagne, and traditional dessert after our meal. The server also signed us up for a membership benefiting from some fantastic discounts on future visits.
A note for any future visitors, if you book a table leave sufficient time to find a parking space as the area is highly congested with parked vehicles and the roads are highly restricted with yellow lines.
Have tried other Curry places in Eastbourne, but by far The Premier Balti House is the best. Have been coming here for 15+ years and am always guaranteed great service with great food.
It is no surprise that unlike other Curry houses in Eastbourne, this one has been going for so long.
First Class Restaurant, few restaurants get takeaway right.
Brilliant quality food cooked with care and skill, really easy online ordering system and the food arrives in perfect condition.
Looking for a great Indian food, then it is Premier Balti
Ate here for the first time a few weeks ago, my wife having been there with friends twice and recommended it. Went with about ten guys and we all loved it. Really tasty food, really friendly service and a really good price. Impressed and I will be back there with my wife soon.
Very good mix of starter dips with lovely poppadums.
Chicken balti had a nice kick. Saag aloo was the best we've ever had. Pilau rice was good.
Quickest service I've had in an indian restaurant. Hot plate was a nice touch.
Would definitely return anytime.
