Went there yesterday just to see but had breakfast and two coffees and it was lovely. There was nobody else in there I don't know why but I am going there again. Good food and good prices and plenty of room 😀 service was good and very polite 😁.
Fantastic little find. 2 main meals for £10 (see Grilled Chicken burger) on week-days, and then "Noughties Happy Hour 5-8pm £3 drinks" on weekdays again. Can't go wrong.

Very clean and welcoming pub. Bar staff are lovely, and the food is hot, well presented and filling.
Good food for decent price, also brought out fairly quickly after ordering via QR code / website.
Duke of Devonshire is very conveniently placed in the Eastbourne town centre, only a few mins walk from the train station and just round the corner from the main bus routes.

All pretty reasonable, chainy feel larger pub , beers fine, food snacks tasted fine. Not my first choice pub in this town but fine
Had a few days in Eastbourne and wanted to see the North London Derby. Found this place. Big. Fully accessible. Screens everywhere. Great atmosphere. Plenty of joking going on. Friendly staff. Disabled toilet. Seats outside if you want. Didn't eat but the menu looked good.
On arrival, one barmaid stood staring at me, then walked off. I thought this was a little bizarre but ignored it and went to the bar and ordered two main meals, which were advertised as 2 for £10 a diet coke and a punt of San Miguel, totalling £20.65. I've been here before and again a very reasonably priced meal which was good value for money. Quick delivery by pleasant staff, will call here again
Great staff behind the bar. Had a pizza, wasn't as good as it has been in the past. Lots of screens for the football, rugby or boxing. A comfortable place to hang out for a few hours.
We had the two for £10 menu & chose fish & chips . Beautifully cooked , & served hot . Expected to get a small portion for that price but got a full size meal . Bargain! Will definitely go again soon .
2 for a tenner meals are amazing. Why cook and do the dishes when we can get fish and chips for a tenner. Totally awesome. And not small portions either
They have realy good food and fair prices. The deals they offer are very interesting. We spend 2 days in Eastbourne and went there twice. You order and pay by App and they serve you realy fast. Very friendly people and good food .What else do you need.
Breakfast was hot and fresh... Can get busy so can be a wait... So get there early 😊
Nice seating outside... Can watch the world go by...
