Nice atmosphere, tasty food, friendly staff, nice place to eat, we had a good time - update from my review 6 months ago - it seems that they have updated their menu to include more vegan foods which are delicious, and the staff at this restaurant in particular are very friendly, kind and generous! 5 star service, thank you

Absolutley fantastic place. Great friendly staff and amazing food. We went here easter Sunday afteroon and throughly enjoyed ourselves. We order afternoon tea for two and was served by a very graceful waiter who was very approachable and accomadating.

Friendly service - 1st time at this branch, but we have visited another branch in our home county. I ordered the eggs benedicit. It was delicious. Lovely bacon and poached eggs. Husband had the smoked salmon salad. We also had a decaf eppresso and oat milk hot chocolate. My hot chocolate was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble at all. A lovely little find in the high street. Our waitress was friendly, service with a smile. .

Consistently good brunch and other savoury dishes for a reliable price. The winter meal deal consisting of a starter and a main is actually very good value. High standard of service and hygiene. Staff very attentive. Unfortunately the tables are very small and close together, and sometimes it is difficult to find adequate seating.

So pleased to be told when we asked, that this particular branch is not closing as some other less profitable branches are. We had 2 very cooling soft drinks with 2 cakes absolutely smothered in whipped cream, which was offered to us when we ordered. A lovely relaxing and restful hour, spent in ambiance and calm and served by very friendly, helpful staff. When we left, the staff called after us, "See you both again soon" and they will.

Attentive staff, nice decor (even the tables look good). Had the cream tea, great if you're not fussy, not great for veggie / vegans. Teapots that pour properly was an absolute win, as you normally get those flappy lid ones in tea rooms that burn your fingers and dispense your beverage via the lid...not so here. As they didn't have the full menu available, they offered a choice of any of the cakes from the window cake display.... Top👍

We have been coming here since they opened and they are, without the shadow of a doubt, the best. You don't have to queue for ages AND pay top dollar for the privilege. The table staff are super which brings me to ms (?) Rovillos nasty and totally unjustified comment about Khaled, the previous manager. We found him to be an excellent host. You shouldn't buy a takeaway and try and drink it in the restaurant, he was totally right in asking you to leave.

Patisserie Valerie is a chain but you would never know it when you visit this branch. Staff are genuine, friendly and attentive and make you feel like you're in a little local cafe. The eggs are great but the cakes are something special.

Very good selection of cakes, lunch dishes. Most importantly a very friendly and attentive team. Tea pot easily serves up 3 full cups.

Love the gay staff here and Manager they are very friendly. Food could be better. Service is zippy although one or two females could do with a bit of training. Today it was rammed with the locals coming in to redeem vouchers for a free cake!
