A very nice place for breakfast. Had poached eggs on sourdough toast. Very friendly staff. This farm shop also sells fresh fruit, veg, jams, sauces and eggs.
Upon walking through the doors, you’re transported from central Eastbourne to a rural farm. Lovely decor and local produce available to buy. Excellent food and service. Very accommodating and friendly staff who went the extra mile! We will be coming back
Great value cafe. We ordered a light lunch on a chill Sunday, and this cafe was exactly the kind of cafes we were looking for. Clean, chill and well lit. Food came quickly and was delicious. We had the quiche and we absolutely loved it. The coffee, while cheap, was quite nice too. Staff was also pol
Great breakfast and great coffee. Lovely selection of cakes too.
Best breakfast in town! Honestly. Very good, quality sausages, well seasoned mushrooms and poached eggs are perfect! Due to unusual circumstances it's worth waiting to get a very good meal. And place has very nice, cozy French vibe.
Great cafe! Everything is home made, breakfast is delicious, the portion size is great and the prices are appropriate. They do vegan, vegetarian and normal breakfast, the coffee is delicious and similar taste to Costa and Starbucks. We had the vegetarian breakfast which come with eggs, avocado, gri
I've just been here for the first time. Due to lock down restrictions, and professional difficulties, this was the first cooked breakfast I've had this year. Also, It was supposed to be my last meal with red meat. However, every single item was just sheer perfection, and I can't cut out red meat wit
This was my second visit. I like the fact that the tables aren't too close to one another especially as I have met friends here and you can chat without feeling everyone is listening. On my first visit I had the All day breakfast which was a generous size and included black pudding which I like an
Amazing food, definite compliments to the chef, excellent service from the staff, i will be back again very soon, keep up the standards and good work, much success to your business. Mike
Me and my partner regularly visit roots. It is the best, freshest tasting breakfast we've ever had. We previously had some bad experiences with staff who didn't acknowledge us or seem enthusiastic. We wrote to let the manager know that the restaurant had this atmosphere to which he apologised and of
Went there with my mum a few days ago and was very impressed with both the food and service! I am a vegan and struggle to eat in most places, however had no trouble there. The guy who served me knew his stuff and recommended a lovely vegan soup; freshly made and tasted very nice!
This place used to have 5 stars, there still very good but over the last year or so have increased there prices a few times and reduced down the breakfast menu and size. The coffee has also changed a few times and it's not as good as the original one. It's a sold 4 but used to be a solid 5
One of the best places in Little Chelsea. Great for lunch and a good range of local produce (vegetables, fruit, eggs etc.) My puppy drags me in here every time we pass as the owner always welcomes him with a treat!
Amazing bacon sandwich served with gorgeous salad and the most delicious granary bread. Topped off with a lovely cup of tea, best food so far, definately be returning and a fair price.
Nice, good food done from local products. Good atmosphere. Kind staff. Got overcharged, but it was quickly corrected. Veggie breakfast was amazing.
Popped in for a spot of breakfast . GF had veggie breakfast and I had the full English. Hands down the best Herby sausage I've had in years. Really looking forwards to going back!
Lovely cafe, great coffee and very accommodating. Met someone for a meeting there and went on longer than planned. Staff didn’t complain or make us feel uncomfortable even though they were waiting to close. Thank you
