Pretty nice place, always delicious food and good service. Atmospheric and somehow cozy here. Been here many times, always a good experience. The only wish, it would be very cool to see napkins and toothpicks on the table. In general, very good.
Went for a lunchtime bite to eat and a couple of pints with my brother. Had never eaten here before and hardly ever had a drink here, but it was a very nice relaxed atmosphere; food and a pint after 2pm was great value at approx £8.50; extremely cheerful bar staff; real ale on tap; and most importantly of all, very clean toilets! Will definately make this one of my regular haunts from now on. Top marks.
Lovely spoons, losds of seating. Food was a little slow but it was busy. Definitely worth a visit. Paid parking close by or there is a bus stop near enough outside.
Popped in for a couple of drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The staff upstairs were lovely, chatty with customers and serving food/drink with a smile. The pub itself is very pleasant too!
I love the coffee at this place. It could have more coffee machines because only one at the bottom ends up having a queue in the morning.
Very good price-value foods and beers. Downstairs was a bit crowded during the day, better to go up.
Fantastic drink offers and huge range of beers/coctails/soft drinks/coffee, etc.
Curry was really tasty, and skinny chicken burger with salad was also a great choice.
Even tho it was crowded sometimes, but service was fast and extremely friendly and attentive.
Toilets are also clean.
Brilliant service and great food. Quick visit before catching the train home after the tennis. They were very friendly and helpful, even when we were a bit nervous of time with the train 🚂 to catch.

Visited here twice over our 4 day trip and ate here both times. The staff here are fantastic, they really go out of their way to help you. There is a fabulous range of drinks at very reasonable prices - the food is brilliant too, and cheap ! We had shared snack frenzy first visit and main meals 2nd visit. We were not disappointed!!
A word of caution though; the other Wetherspoons pub around the corner is completely different. The atmosphere is not nice and it just felt a little downbeat and dirty. The clientele is not as nice either.....
Stick with the London & County!
A very well located pub right opposite the station with plenty of seating options over two floors. The pub was busy but food and drinks were brought out quickly with the food being of a very high standard. Will definitely visit again when in the town.

We only had drinks, but I couldn't believe the value. £10.75 for 3 large glasses of wine. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good.
Always good for a cheap and cheerful meal with a drink. The breakfast options are fantastic and produce used of a very high quality. Also mich cheaper than local cafés where the breakfasts are also greasy compared to Wetherspoons.

Good, solid JD Wetherspoon pub close to Eastbourne station. Same inexpensive, generally good value food (especially the Curry dishes, now available discounted every day), same reasonable and shockingly inexpensive selection of cask ales. One of the nicer JDW places in terms of interieur and atmosphere, I must say. Decent service.
