The Lamb - Eastbourne - Photo album

Pub review only. Visited the pub after reading the good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Warm welcome was a fab start as that's not always the case in pubs catering for locals mainly. Quaint and relaxed atmosphere, very well kept beers from Harvey's brewery and tasty generous dishes. Definitely
As a long time resident of Eastbourne, I’ve driven past The Lamb many times and always meant to pop in for a drink. When my house was empty to move to Madrid The Lamb was the obvious choice to spend my last night in Eastbourne. The room was well appointed and comfy with a great shower. I also nee
Visiting Eastbourne and was steered to this pub for a meal and drinks. Turned out it was a good recommendation as the food was very good and the beers well kept. The pub is very old and has an atmosphere to match. Helpful friendly staff. We visited on a weekday evening and it got quite busy as the e
Top quality pub! Bar staff were so friendly and even gave us a tour of the ancient cellar! Beer was perfect but that's pretty standard from a Harvey's pub! ❤️
This is our 3rd time ordering Ploughman dish since we arrived in UK 7 weeks ago. Each restaurant served the dish very differently, this is okay for me. The steak pie is very tasty and rich in flavour we liked it very much. And I must say that the 2 lady staff are very courteous and friendly to ever
Friday night for a couple of drinks and meal with friends. Booked in advance, very busy. Food really good , decent portions, and clearly homemade.
Stayed for two nights and thought it was great. Comfy bed, spacious room, awesome pub downstairs and the folk running the place were super nice. Good value, may not suit those coming for the beach as it's a half an hour walk away. Will stay again.
The staff are so on the ball and observant, hardly have to look up and they're there, checking we had everything we needed. Great food too!
One of the two best pubs in the Meads. Great food, fantastic atmosphere, splendid people and they keep the Guinness cold!!!
A wonderful old pub, dating from 1180, full of character and history. I was privileged to be given a tour of the ancient cellar. I would recommend a visit to this beautiful Inn.
My favourite pub in Eastbourne with plenty of history, great atmosphere and fabulous food. Large room upstairs for hire too, wonderful.
Great pub, good beer, nice atmosphere. I intend to visit more frequently as we all felt "they've got it right" or just maintained what a Brit pub should be.
Excellent pint of Harvey's and a delicious fish and chips. Super staff and great location. Just as a pub should be
Loved this Band B. Just spent one night. You couldn't wish for any more for breakfast..lovely. All staff were a good team.Owners smashing couple. My only problem was the amount of stairs as a partially disabled person. Good location as a jumping off spot. Smashing from The Southampton party who stay
Such a lovely place to stay the night! So friendly staff! Cosy room! Great breakfast too!!!
We had a dinner on Thursday night. Tom was excellent in service, courtesy and cheerful. The food and drinks are great. We missed the special dishes written on the blackboard. Must try next time.
Wonderful place to eat, great choices and brilliant staff. Tom was particularly lovely, they gave the right amount efficiency and friendliness without being too pushy or invasive. Tom made it a pleasurable visit along with the Goats Cheese Tart 👌!! Thanks from the Hawkins Family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great food, great service, great people and great room. All was perfect during or stay. Very close for everything, beach, restaurants and Pier.
