The loca is unique. The decoration is perfect, with lots of details in every corner. There are parts of the place where you can still see what was once the farm. We only went for coffee, but the staff was very friendly and we liked the place. That day they had live music, and that made our stay even more special.

We recently had a function in the Friday Street Farm, in the "Oast Room". It was a family gathering and following an easy booking process, the event was a huge success. This is largely due to the people who looked after our afternoon, and the food. Liam looked after all our needs and was extremely helpful and efficient, particularly considering our staggered times of arrival and departure. Tam behind the bar was very friendly and extremely efficient, even remembering previous drinks we had purchased. The food was freshly prepared, high quality and helped make the day as we had hoped. The venue and people deserve 5 stars all round, thank you to them.

We held my father's wake at The Farm. The staff were kind and helpful in assisting us with planning and responded swiftly to our questions, beforehand. On the day the buffet was excellent, with plenty of choice and quantity at a very reasonable price. We were allocated our own part of the bar area which worked really well. Thank you The Farm for making a sad day go well.

Great food that you can expect from a pub. When we visited the menus that can be found on the website and the ones we were handed differed slightly. If the menus were more informative on allergen information that would also be helpful as I live with someone who has a gluten Intolerance. Service wasn’t the best but that’s probably just me coming from a fine dining background, but with a little more training the staff could be a silver service level in no time.

Love this pub. The atmosphere and decor etc is fab. The ladies toilet could do with a refurb. Had to wait over an hour for our roast lunch but when it did arrive it was delicious and plentiful. The serving staff were apologetic for the wait but were helpful, friendly and pleasant. A small mistake was made on our bill but was immediately rectified once discovered. There are things that could do with tightening up but overall I still love this pub and would recommend a visit. Thanks.

We held my Dad's Wake here recently, in the private mezzanine area. Liam and the team couldn't have been more lovely, from my initial enquiry right through to the Wake itself. There was enormous amounts of food, plenty of coffee/tea top-ups (as well as food top-ups) so plenty to go round. The chocolate cake was absolutely delicious! I also really appreciated the little touches to make it more personal (including setting out a couple of photographs before we arrived, and pouring a fresh pint of Guinness for my Dad). The staff were very sensitive to the occasion, and helped a difficult day pass by very smoothly.

We went here for a family meal. Atmosphere was good. The lack of attire the waitress wore although for a night out was nice but not for serving. She had to keep pulling her top down.

Lovely pub, really cosy with friendly staff. Chips where gluten free and the portion size was really big! Great value for money would definitely come back when in the area again.

Went here last night to meet my mums long lost sister that we never had met or even known existed until recently! We chose The Farm due to its range of menu choices (not knowing what sort of food she eats) they had 4-5 vegan, and vegetarian options and allowed us to take our dogs so the whole family could meet! Me and my partner had the burger (mine with cheese) it was a basic toasted bun, one slice of lettuce leaf, one tomato, one patty but no sauce, so it was really dry, the meat was nice but it could of done with some chutney or sauce, of course I added ketchup but I could of done with something a bit less basic. I enjoyed the chunky chips, crispy on the outside and reasonably fluffy on the inside, though my partner said they tasted underdone, which I disagreed with. Others in the family had the Beyond burger, the feta and sweet potato lasagne, and a steak and kidney pie, which I didn't hear any complaints from. To me, it all looked really good! The staff were welcoming, polite, and attentive, and ensured we had what we needed. They also provided the dogs with a water bowl. Great atmosphere, there was live music, which we didn't expect, which was really good! Though we could of done with going somewhere a bit quite instead as it was difficult to talk over the table - but that's my fault... overall, I needed somewhere that allowed dogs, had close parking, had vegetarian options and a range of food options, and this was the only place I could find in Eastbourne that could accommodate that and wouldn't be too lairy on a Friday night. I would definitely come here again but wouldn't get the burger unless they sazzled it up a little bit.

Very interesting building with lots of variety in different areas. Atmospheric, and cosy in the bar area with wonderful space deeper into the building.
