Warm, inviting, down to earth and good value. I have dined at Tuk Tuk several times now and even had my birthday meal there in September. It's unassuming and relaxing and the staff are very attentive and friendly. I thoroughly recommend it.

So good for lunch yesterday we came back for lunch today! Excellent fresh tasty food, cooked perfectly. Lovely staff, friendly welcoming place. We will return next time we're in the area. One request, PLEASE get rid of the horrible cheap cutlery, and buy some that doesn't cut into your hands.

Great food, great service. OK so whose bright idea was it to do street food in a restaurant setting? Don't care. So many times it just doesn't work. Here it does. In every aspect. You also get treated as though you are the only customer in the place. I should point out that over 80% of the tables were occupied so it wasn't as if the staff were sitting around. And they are friendly and helpful too ensuring that you understand what you are ordering. Will go again. And again. And again.

Absolutely delicious food! Small portions served in a 'Tapas style' - so you can all share everything - soooo good! Excellent, quick service by fabulous member of staff who even invited us on holiday! Thoroughly recommended!

Very tasty lunch. We had 6 dishes between the two of us and struggled to get through them, however, we were brave and managed. Everything we ordered was very tasty and it is a really nice mixed menu. Would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner. Also really good for bigger parties and for single diners as you can order as much or as little as you want. Wine was a really good price too.

We went to Tuk Tuk for my birthday meal with 7 friends. The food was absolutely beautiful, such amazing, different flavours from every dish. I can't compliment the chef enough. The waiting staff were friendly, polite & always smiling. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Tuk Tuk, it's about time Eastbourne had something different.

Food was tasty but there is a minimum spend of £17.50 per person. The naan was too thin and crispy rather than fluffy. Service was nice and so was the presentation. I’ve had bigger portions for less money in London. Several downsides considering there is another Indian restaurant across the street. Overall, the food came out quick, service was nice and the main meals were tasty.

Every once in a while, one comes across an Indian restaurant that isn't conventional. Tuk Tuk, with its namesake coming from the streets of Thailand, certainly makes Indian food interesting for us. We tried the seafood and meat Thali, which gave us a fantastic sampling of different dishes in smaller portions. Although not full sized dishes, they were mighty in taste. I especially appreciated the dhal with its mega doses of garlic. The mango lassi is delicately balanced and wasn't overpowered with sugar (which, unfortunately, is the case in typical Indian restaurants). The decor is modern and chic with ambient music, a fusion of (sometimes) 80s music with an Indian twist. Proprietors were friendly, relaxed, and attentive. Overall, we left with our tummies fed and our souls satisfied. It felt like the food was prepared with care, and the results showed. Highly recommended.

My wife and I just travelled through and stopped by Eastboune for a night, randomly searched on google for dinner and found this Indian restaurant. The quality of food and service were far beyond any of our expectation. The restaurant had great atmosphere and we were warmly welcome by the friendly staff. Thank you for the two gentlemen who made our time at the restaurant so delightful. (You can feel they genuinely care about everyone in the restaurant, it is places like this that we absolutely love). Not to mention the restaurant make one of the best Indian food we have ever had (We had been to India) And such delicious dishes could only be found in India, but it could never be as clean and hygienic as Tuk Tuk. So we just have to let everyone know, this is by far the best place for Indian food, we had such a great time in Eastbourne by this restaurant. The butter chicken, galic naan, butter naan are our favorite.

Tuk tuk seemed like a nice restaurant for a dinner. Pleasant environment and moderately loud Indian music. We ate lamb aubergine achai, Indonesian coconut curry, and vegetarian thali along with naan bread. Everyone was satisfied with the food!

We ate here recently on a cold dark winter's night and it was just perfect. Our host was welcoming and attentive. Comfortable and clean premises. Good range of dishes on the menu but once we spotted 3 types of thali were available that was it - my partner had the meat one and I had the seafood version and we were not disappointed. Very tasty indeed and we will be returning.

So glad we chose to eat at Tuk Tuk. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lots of choices on the menu to choose from. I decided to go with the meat Thali which was a selection of 2 chicken,1 lamb, rice, Dal, potatoes, nan bread and a samosa. Everything was excellent and the lamb was tender which was a bonus as it can be a bit chewy most of the time. Prices are reasonable. It did get very busy so it's recommended to book a table beforehand.

Everything about this place is amazing, the staff treated us extremely well and there was no errors to our orders. The food came out very quickly unlike many other locations and it was the best curry I have ever tasted. The flavour was a perfect blend of spices it was spicy and flavourful. The atmosphere was authentic and the food smelled and tasted amazing.

Really enjoyed my visit here. Awesome veggie and vegan options. Whilst slightly more than your traditional Indian restaurants compared to other small plates places the prices are very reasonable.

After a long time of watching this restaurant. My wife, and I, finally plucked up the courage to give this place a try.  We were not disappointed. The restaurant is very clean. Tables lightly set and the chairs are comfortable. Lighting is pretty good. No problem reading the menu. The toilets are compact and exceptionally clean. This was a very pleasant surprise. An area that many an Indian inspired restaurant leaves out. The kitchen is partially open plan so you can see some of the food being prepared and, that the cleanliness extends there too. The bar area is in the corner and on show too. The menu itself is pretty clear, concise, and brief. Not a lot here to get yourself complicated with. That said. If you are of Indian or similar background. There are lots of items here that you would be familiar with. Maybe some you would even get excited about. If you are new to the concept of Indian Street food, and been tempted to give it a try. This is the place for you. It is important to understand what this restaurant is aiming to achieve. They are trying to introduce and build upon the Indian Street Food concept. This is really a variation of Tapas. You are best to select a mixture of dishes and sample pieces of them all, over conversation and drinks of your choice. Very informal. To build on the Indian street atmosphere, the artwork is Bollywood posters, and the flatware is traditional stainless steel plates and beakers. The food is good quality and, indeed tasty with good presentation. But although inspired by Indian Street Food. If you think you will be transported back to the tastes of Mumbai or Delhi. This is not going to happen. The food here is based on, and not a reproduction of traditional Street Food. It is created to a little more of a European taste. It is not fiery hot. This does not detract in any way from its quality or origin. We had a good mix from the selection. Of note, I will say the Dosa was very good, but a little expensive for what it is, and in comparison to other likewise restaurants. That said you can’t get one anywhere else in Eastbourne so it’s a cornered market. We met the owner who was very nice and showed a real interest in all the guests that came in while we were there. Our visit was better than expected, and we did enjoy the food. I’m sure we will be back in the future.

We booked this restaurant well in advance to our trip, when we arrived at our hotel we were actually recommended to come here! We arrived an hour early just by chance to see if we could get in as we were starving🤣 and there was no problem, our table had already been set out for us! The food was amazing, and very reasonably priced. Thank you once again for not only the amazing food, but your lovely service 😁
