Always love this place, but wow it's on a whole new level! The new food menu is outstanding! I had the Sussex smoked kippers with poached eggs, salsa verde, pickles and smoked cheddar jalapeño corn bread. Cannot recommend enough!
Just had my first brunch from the new menu (I had the kippers with salsa verde) and it was so so good. A perfect birthday treat for me today! Well done, the whole menu looks really good x
The food is always good. Can recommend the Welsh Rarebit and the Full Breakfast (meat) one. Nice touch with the tea time timer for a perfect cuppa!!! Well recommended!!
I moved over to Eastbourne from Ireland to complete my final year of university. I found myself completing the majority of my work in Nelsons and enjoyed every single minute. Ben and Lucy (owners) are two of the most genuinely kind people I've come across, not only with customer service but in general conversation. They have the highest quality of staff who not only are a pleasure to speak with but know their stuff about coffee which is excellent. The coffee and food is incredible and so much diligence goes into every single drink and every single plate of food and you will be challenged to find an atmosphere as great in any coffee shop.

I've always been a big fan of Nelsons for many reasons: the lovely Lucy and Ben and their super smiley, friendly team, their inspiration behind their coffee shop � the tea timer!!! I LOVE the tea, the coffee is beaut as is the hot chocolate with oaty milk and wonderful cakes including the GF options. So today I finally had brunch after wanting to check it out for quite some time and it did not disappoint!!!......smashed avo on jalapeño and cheese cornbread with poached egg was an absolute dream � I am not going to be craving this breakfast until next time!!

Came here for brunch this morning, was out of this world. We couldn't decide what to have as they have such a good range for a veggie g/f person like myself, so me and my partner shared each other's, veggie brekkie followed by pancakes. Looked amazing, tasted amazing and served by friendly staff �

Finally made a visit for my Birthday as I had always heard about the coffee here. The food was delivered to my mum and I within less than 10 minutes! A very fast service and vegan selection is broad too!
Massive choice, great brunch menu which caters for vegans and gluten free too! Made to look effortless but totally obvious how much passion and determination has been lovingly applied. Lots of attention to detail. A firm favourite of my husband and I.

Went there with a friend and decided to sit outside as I had my dachshund with me, they noticed when it got a bit breezy outside that we were getting a bit cold and offered us to come inside, they were so lovely to us and very welcoming to my dog and offered her a bowl of water and gave her lots of attention!! Very friendly!! Would definitely come back here, Food and drink very tasty and has a great atmosphere! :)
Popped in for a late lunch and had the daily special, a Haddock Burger.....I know, I’d not had one before either. Came with a light red onion and mashed pea topping, home made tartare sauce, served in a brioche bun and the most delicious chips I’d ever tasted.
One of those meals you get upset with when you realise it’s the last mouthful...grrr
Such a happy place to be, staff are great, coffee is wonderful and it’s spotless.
Had 2 of the best coffees here today,2 different blends which actually do taste different.I think we're too used to having coffees the size of a buss from places like Starbucks that taste of nothing. Ditch the run of the mill and go straight to Nelson Coffee company. The best coffee(try the millionaire shortbread too,yummy)

Based on my friend's recommendations, I tried the coffee at Nelson's today, and I was really impressed with their coffee.
More than my expectations I found my favourite place for cinnamon buns. Loved your cinnamon buns as much as I loved the coffee.

The morning after the beer festival we needed some good food and my wife found Nelson Coffee.
We arrived at 9.30am on the Sunday and had our choice of tables. Any later and it would have been more difficult as this was clearly a popular place.
My wife and I opted for the vegan breakfast and we were sure glad we did.
When it arrived it looked stunning and fortunately the taste matched the appearance. We agreed that every element was clearly carefully chosen to provide the very best in taste, nothing was left the chance. The beans were not just Heinz, the avocado was topped with seeds. The mushrooms were smoked and it continues with each item on the plate. The sourdough that everyone seems to choose for breakfasts was crunchy but the juice from the vine ripe tomatoes softened the slice. My favourite part were the hash potatoes. A generous portion and delightfully crispy.
I seem to be rating a lot of places 5 stars lately but I have been so fortunate to experience the best food and Nelson Coffee is up there!
Fabulous Last minute Mother's day treat at Company....
I managed to get a booking online, which was very easy to book, I was surprised that a table was available.
We arrived with the turnover of menu at 12pm. The lovely staff member said that she can serve us with the brunch menu, which was great. We enjoyed a latte, green machine smoothie and a apple juice.
My daughter had waffles with syrup, my wife had Eggs Benedict and I had a great Cooked breakfast.
All was cooked perfectly, presentation was sublime and service was very accommodating, polite and friendly.
Thank you for all making Mother's Day special for my wife. Superb! 😁👍
Dropped in for quick brunch and had the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon whilst my wife had the salmon bagel. Both were well-presented and tasty.

It’s a good place for a breakfast or brunch and a nice spot for a date although the atmosphere isn’t romantic as such.

Price is at the upper range compared to other options but it’s worth it.

By far, the best cafe in Eastbourne! I had the breakfast board and it was the best cafe breakfast I've had!
The coffee was excellent and nice to see the roasting process in the front of house!
Great atmosphere, attentive staff and brilliant food and drinks.
I ordered the Korean fried chicken to start, and the Porchetta for my main. I was also offered bread and a separate appetiser before my starter arrived - this was delicious. All the food was brilliant, as were the cocktails. Great service too, would recommend. Lots of good gluten free and allergy friendly options.
Always a pleasure to pop in! Sometimes get a mixture from a service perspective but the lady that served me last week was really sweet. Coffee is very strong, beautiful taste but next time I will ask for a single shot as preference. Thanks Nelson’s
