Do you like enormous and interesting sandwiches with healthy fillings and proper bread? What about a cafe that sources its produce locally? And if that cafe also holds strong core values? I bloody love a place like that. Planning a return visit because the mushrooms on toast looked like something I need to experience.
Quality local ingredients used from nearby butcher bakers and coffee roasters . Good vegetarian options and always beautifully cooked. Outside seating area is popular for breakfast in the morning sun
Came here for breakfast with friends one of whom is a coeliac. They were really accommodating and helpful. A minor mistake with an order was rectified immediately without having to ask the staff. This level of attention goes the extra mile and it’s really nice to receive such great customer service. Food was excellent too.
It was a delightful visit at G&G , the food was absolutely amazing! Hats off to the staff and the chef, we’ll definitely be back again.

Delightful Aussie style Cafe with excellent coffee and lovely food with high quality ingredients - menu includes sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. There are tables outside and shared tables inside including a snug area in the back. Good wifi (no mobile signal in this area).
The team are friendly and soft music in background adds to the relaxed vibe. This place would not be out of place in Manly, Mornington Peninsula or Byron Bay, East Preston is very fortunate to have a gem like this.
Amazing fresh food with fantastic service in the perfect setting.. brunch doesn't get any better. Will be back again soon to try more of the menu and recommend everyone visit immediately! 10/10 👌🏼

Lovely little cafe. Came for a late breakfast Friday morning after a walk along the beach and it was packed, with lots of groups both inside and out. We sat inside with our 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us and didn't ever feel like we got in anyone's way. Service was friendly and attentive. I had bacon sandwich, we also had a vegetarian breakfast and a child's breakfast which were all delicious. The bacon in the bacon sandwich was lovely and hot and cooked exactly as I like it. Can thoroughly recommend - will definitely be back. Hopefully next time to try out a burger. Thanks for a nice breakfast!
Fantastic dog friendly cafe, with several tables outside - perfect place to relax with a drink while you read the newspaper or watch the world go by. The latte was sublime. My wife and I also ordered a breakfast each (one veggie, one meaty) and both were amazing - fabulous quality, all served on artisanal bread. Even the ketchup and brown sauce were a cut above the norm (Stokes - I'll be keeping an eye our for it😀). And to top it all off, the staff went out of their way to be friendly and chatty. Definitely worth a visit.
