I came to this pub years ago for a quiet pint, and this time we came for a gig. On Saturday night, the place was busy with friendly people and cute dogs 🐶 - the bar staff only took card which was fine for us. They had birra Moretti ( draught ) andthatchers Katy (bottled) 🍎 which was great - the drinks are a little bit expensive (£6+ a pint) but it is the only pub in the area so I can understand why. The band were great and the sound quality was good 👍
A very popular pub with a lot of character. I've been dropping in for 40 years and it is always a pleasant place to be. It has a captive audience in the summer with a lot of camping fields on its doorstep. Bar staff were great in busy circumstances when we visited last on a sunny weekend at the beginning of September. Food looked good. Beer was good.
After a coastal hike we headed to the Pigs Nose Inn for some food and drinks. Great atmosphere and customer service. We both ordered two stone baked pizzas and truffle chips which were so tasty! Highly recommend.
Wanted to go to this place for a long time and finally made it over the last couple of days, it did not disappoint!! Full of character and characters this quirky little pub is charming and welcoming with lots of local ales and ciders, the food is exceptional (we had the burger) and the aptly named "The Pig's Nose" ale is so tasty and fruity. If you're a music fan then you'll love it even more here because they hold regular events both in the pub and the adjoining hall. There is plenty of camping choices within stumbling distance if you want to make a few days of it and take in some of the amazing sea views and coastal walks, all within easy reach. Simply fantastic!!
Fantastic old inn just on the village square. Choice of a few ales. Friendly chatty staff and locals. Marvelous ambience. Pool table, dartboard and arcade machine. Good lighting with tasteful tunes on low. Interesting gents toilets. Very highly recommended 🍻
Wow wow wow. What an amazing time I had!. The pizza was the best I have had out of Italy! Such a gorgeous jem with it's quirkiness and decor. I do have to give the biggest shout out to their stand in chief, she went above and beyond to help me and my friends out. I highly recommend a visit
Visited for lunch and so glad we did. Fantastic, old world pub with fascinating, quirky decor and memorabilia, good food, good beer, and very friendly staff who made us most welcome and had a chat. Driving so couldn't drink much but could happily have lingered longer. Superb!
best pub ever!!!! worth the horrible drive/hours' walk in hot sun/very hilly bike ride (we did all of them) down the tiniest country lanes. burgers, fish, chips, drinks all wonderful. staff were genuinely lovely, and everyone down there is always happy for a chat.
Been here a few times in the past 5 years. Always a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Full of character and charm. Good drinks selection. We are here today, Friday evening, really good menu. Made it a difficult decision. 4 of us are, all had something different. None of us disappointed. The food was really good. Great quality fresh ingredients, well cooked. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious too! Would recommend for a drink and worth hanging around to have food too!
Excellent quirky little pub with live bands good food.
A lovely friendly pub with good outdoor space. Food was so much better than our last visit 2 years ago but it took far too long to arrive.
Had a great lunch in this cosy, quirky pub. I had a generous bowl of very juicy large mussels, other members of the group had burger, crab sandwich and calamari. Quick service and friendly place.
Great pints, and really friendly service.
Love being able to sit out on the green at all the picnic tables, but would have been just as happy inside as the decor is beautifully old.
Only stopped for a couple of drinks after a walk along the coast in the area. And glad that we did.
Very pleasantly surprised to find that the drinks were so reasonable in price for such a popular spot!
Wonderful pub with live music and superb service from a great team of staff. The sound from blue thunder was amazing and totally made the event
Speedy bar service and beautiful venue
A lovely, authentic pub which caters well for holidaymakers and locals alike. Great beer, too. Friendly atmosphere. Will come back.
Great atmosphere with a good local beer selection. The hardworking staff were welcoming and friendly. The food and service was superb with a vegetarian selection. Dog friendly too, we'll be back!
What a quaint and quirky old English pub. The fish and chips were light and fluffy and locally caught, definitely worth a visit.
A great venue for a gig, it's a close up and personal venue. I have enjoyed a gig or two here and always look forward to the next time.
The staff are friendly and are always welcoming. The pizza addition to the pub in the outside seating area is great. Good food inside and out.
