Being a 6ft 3 specimen (dont know what I'm allowed to call myself anymore), manoeuvring through the bar can be somewhat tricky as the lovely old beams and joists are somewhat low. On a hot day a cold drink goes down easier while watching the chubb swim up the river on which the pub sits. Good beers served by friendly staff, we chilled out under the flight path of Spitfires. Lovely.
