I'll begin by appreciating the employees for their friendliness.They came a few times to make sure everything was okay. (and it seems they do this with all the customers).

We visited the pub on an impromptu Sunday afternoon and the food was absolutely delicious! Pub had a great environment inside, it was lovely and warm and we received a good, friendly service. It's well worth a visit!

Nice pub with good food. They also have a nice variety of beers and ciders. The fish and chips were nice and crispy, and the burger was delicious. Portions are pretty big. Service is quick and polite.

Stopped off for a quick lunch. Not a great amount of choice for veggies but what we had was really good. We both had mushrooms on sough dough bread and shared the skin on fries. Friendly and quick service. Very nice
It's quite spacious inside, good variety of drinks and food on the menu. We had the wild mushroom arancini to start, and the fish & chips for our main. The arancini was delicious, the fish amd chips was a generous portion size. The Pea puree (correction - pease pudding) was a bit bland unfortunately
What a great find when searching " Google " for ' dog friendly pub's ' . A warm welcome for us and our 2 dogs . The pub was clean , spacious and with plenty of seating . Food was quick , fresh and delicious. The chips seemed bottomless .

A Sunday lunch with friends and family. A beautiful pub with loads of traditional flair. Food was very tasty and the facilities were very clean. Indoor and outdoor service. Use public transport. Parking is very tight if available. The bus stop is about 200 yards away from the pub.
Nice atmosphere in this lovely pub. Had Sunday roast beef which considering its pre preped. pink or WD was good, I had pink. Now this is not criticism but.. portion size was huge. personally I would prefer slightly less .

Amazing place, very cosy atmosphere and all staff very attentive and helpful.
