We went to Mezzet Dar this week and it was excellent. The food was an unusal twist on Spanish tapas with Lebanese theme. Water is complimentary. It was high quality and scrumptious. Can't wait to go back. We had a special dish which was so delicious with toast, patatas bravas, sea bass, tortilla which is so filling and finally chocolate con churros with a surprise topping, no spoilers. The manager Toby is approachable and warm. The best restsuatamt manager we have met as we felt very taken care of even in a busy eatery and guided through the menu and options. Wish we they had a place in South London.
It is not often I come back from a resturant and feel that I must leave a review. Simply the best Tapas this side of Madrid; the subtle lebanese twist makes it all the better and the beatiful presentation lifts the food above your typical Spanish fare . Favourite dish: all of them....

The play is itself is quite cosy as in the tiny rather than fireplace in the corner with marshmallows sort of cosy. It is quite long and thin. The thin long main eating area is divided into a side referred to as the library which has a sofa type bench running along the entire length of one side and chairs on the other side of the table or else you can eat under the massive strawberries on the ceiling on the other side where the decor is much lighter with glass tables and colours and flowers. Either 'room' is only really an isle of tables - seating probably 12-14 in each 'room'. On arrival you are seated quickly and in my case after being asked if I liked the temperature I was then handed the remote control to adjust the air-conditioning unit should I want to. The staff were very friendly though not all experts in some aspects of the cuisine but charming and really that is all you want . As soon as we sat down we were brought complimentary mineral water be it sparkling or still. The menus looked exciting – classics were there but with a twist. We ordered a variety of tapas dishes and a couple of slightly larger portions that were known as B-side. The portions of the tapas were pretty generous and delicious though some might argue a touch fussy with a little piped dot of a sauce next to the croquetas - known as S&M .. Serrano & Manchego cheese flavoured. The bechamel in the croquetas was Smoove with pieces of a cured ham as one might expect - there was also a hint of the Manchego cheese - but as light as I could've hoped for so as not to make the snap too heavy. In fact the only change I might have made would be to add a hint of nutmeg and A touch of a pork jus although would have made the bechamel less what it would have I think enhance the flavour. The Padron peppers were as good as could be expected so early in the year when you don't get any hot ones removing the Russian roulette element. The green asparagus was wonderfully cooked and beautifully presented with a little bit of crispy bacon below. In fact each dish was delicious and the traditional always had a touch making it unique and different. All were thoroughly enjoyable. Are you even went for the chocolate con churros at the end which presented the chocolate in a delightful quenelle and the churros themselves - though slightly overly dusted with icing sugar had come popping candy on it too which surprised the palate and intrigued. Overall it was a delightful place and I shall be returning many times I'm sure
Absolutely the best gem of a restaurant in Surrey. Superb food, friendly staff taking great care of their clients, and the restaurant is beautifully styled. Love it there!

What a jewel in the crown of Hampton Court! Fabulous food and excellent service. Everything was beautifully prepared and so tasty. I don't normally eat dessert but the 'tomato cheesecake on shortbread' intrigued me. An absolute work of art!!!
Creative beautiful food that you'll just have to return as you'll wish to try the whole menu .. Simply one of the best local restaurants ..

Great at atmosphere, very friendly staff but my favorite part? I’m not sure. Is it the room with the huge strawberries on the ceiling, the private library setup or the dishes? Such creative and yummy dishes! (Their names are funny too). Would definitely recommend!

Great cocktails, good food & friendly attentive service ... but empty so not a great atmosphere.
I have been visiting Mezzet Dar Tapas for 2 years now and I still love the food and the wine like in my very first time.What makes me come back is the friendly service of this place, this time provided by Ali, who simply made me feel home with sharing his background story and having the same taste in food.

We dined here last weekend as a group of 8 to celebrate a 50th birthday. We were seated in the little room which gives a special feeling of privacy. Although two ladies were also sat there, they enjoyed the atmosphere along side us and even bought a dessert for the birthday boy! The service from Valentino and Ariel was brilliant, they made great cocktails, bought our tapas style food out at a steady pace and looked after our needs very well. The food here is excellent, in particular we enjoyed the lamb topped houmos and calamari, the halloumi also deserves a mention as does the blackened cod. We were too full for dessert but the birthday thoroughly enjoyed his treat from the neighbouring table. It wasn't our first visit, we've been a couple of times before, it has never disappointed.
Such a nice restaurant. Very friendly staff and good food. It’s a lovely place for dinner and lunch.

Went to Mezzet Dar for dinner. The food was amazing had tapas and I was impressed with the sizes you get more than enough for the price you pay, the fish was fresh and delicious as well as the prawns which were my favourite the lamb was also very good. W e tried several plates/tapas and all were well presented and taste divine.
The staff was extremely helpful and kind especially Jonás the Manager who helped and advise with the dishes choices, he is always smiling and very pleasant will definitely come back and 100% recommend it !
This little gem is amazing. Not your regular tapas so be prepared but the food is tremendous. Thank you for lovely evening 😘

We ate here on early Friday evening and chose 5 tapas dishes. They were all delicious and beautifully presented. The house white Lebonese wine was good too. We had enough room to share Baklava and fruit to finish an enjoyable meal. The staff are friendly and attentive. What more could you want. If you want a special treat this is the place to come!

I am a regular customer. It has an amazing warm atmosphere where we enjoy the very delicious Spanish Tapas along with fine wine. But the most particular thing about this restaurant is their welcoming staff, always smiling and ready for our orders.it is definitely an exceptional restaurant that we advise everyone to visit it.
Cosy, intimate gem of a find in Hampton Court, with lovely food, and a great atmosphere. The staff at Dar are exceptional. Both professional and hospitable, they are always welcoming and do everything they can to make it an inviting experience. A must visit!
Delicious creative Lebanese/Spanish fusion tapas, great atmosphere, brilliant service as always from Silvano and Valentina. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.

Compact Tapas bar with decor that just gives you enough of a hint that you could be in the Mediterranean somewhere. Good choice Tapas on the menu with the Lamb in particular being the star of the show for me. The Patatas Bravas was an interesting interpretation of a Spanish classic, never seen it done like that before.
Had lunch here and it was so good came back for takeaway a few days later . Food good , service excellent, everything done with class . Highly recommend .
