Me and my Mrs came here for a valentines meal and we was booked for 9. We was quite late but they held the chef back so we could have our grub! Absolute perfection, was a enjoyable night. We got rushed in to making an order but that was perfectly understandable as we was late so it was or fault🙊 The staff was very polite and professional and we will definitely be back again! Excellent service, excellent food and excellent place! Cannot thank you enough :)

We had the best Sunday lunch here yesterday, the pork was so tender, the roast potatoes and vegetables were delicious and so was the gravy and Yorkshire puddings. The mint chocolate profiteroles were also so delicious, I would give the food 5/5 and we will definitely be back for another roast in the future!! I'd also like to say how wonderful the staff were, they even gave us extra veg, gravy and pork scratchings which were heavenly! 👍🏻😉😃☺️🍷🍗

We came for a meal last night and I must say it was a lovely experience. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, perfect. It was our first visit and it certainly won't be our last. Well done everyone involved. We shall certainly be recommending the King and Queen to our friends.

We had a lovely lunch. We both had chicken and leek pie, which was delicious, as was the mash, chips and veg. The starters were good, too.
My brother stayed here for a couple of nights and the rooms are comfortable and private. He slept well.
The staff were all friendly and helpful - and the parking is good, too!
I would certainly visit again.
Booked the back room for my mums 60th surprise gathering and it was a fantastic venue. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout the day and the buffet was fantastic. We went back the following day for lunch and it was the best roast beef dinner I have had for years. Dessert was also great and the service was brilliant. Highly recommend for a gathering of 30 to 40 people or even for dinner or lunch. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day and we will be using them again. Great pub.

Had a shandy on Saturday around 14:00, it was quite busy and a very hot day. They have good range of seating outside with table service if required. £4.90 for the bitter shandy and £6.00 for a Guinness.
Stopped off randomly for a pint and some Sunday lunch. Despite being very busy we were served relatively quickly. Friendly and helpful staff.
What a fantastic place this is! Stayed for 1 night in a spotlessly clean room. We had mussels for dinner that were delicious and were served by staff who were friendly, polite and very attentive. Great value for money! This really is a gem, well done.
Stopped off for dinner with the family. Bangers and Mash - delightful! Lovely quaint pub with quality food and wonderful ales.

Had my birthday lunch here. Food was good and the service was too. It was a trip down memory lane for us. We used to visit it when we were courting. Definitely recommend the pub and food. Did not use as a Hotel

Loved it. Great service. Friendly staff. Excellent meal - prawn cocktail starter, followed by fish & chips! Haddock was light and crisp - big fat chips - what's not to like?

Wow this pub surpassed any expectation!! Very warm welcome and wonderful selection of drinks (local real ale, local gins). Suitably decorated for our Queen's Jubilee and their celebratory programme looks fabulous.
Unfortunately they weren't serving food Tuesday evening so we visited the local kebab shop and ate in the park next to the pub. The room was excellent, very comfortable bed and huge TV! Lovely breakfast and snacks provided also. I've just booked for later this month for a return visit!!
I enjoyed my Niece's baby shower at The King and Queen the other Sunday. The pub is very cosy and the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The buffet was delicious and plentiful. A good time was had by all.
