If you want stunning, delicious food, then you have to try the Streak House, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Not only is the food first class, tastiest steak I’ve ever had, but the staff are so friendly, they make you feel so comfortable. This really is a must visit. 100% recommend.

Went here for dinner tonight, place was busy for Wednesday so we got escorted up stair. The place was really well decorated, clean and very pleasant. The service was quick and very attentive. The owner gave us his time and introduced himself. Would thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a nice meal to try here. Well done, credit to the chefs you have they have

Stayed here for a week while working in rucklaw house, made us very welcome and looked after us brilliantly all week. Staff were top class and pat couldn't have done enough for us, food and service was amazing I'd definitely recommend it.
Attentive and friendly staff.Im so lucky to have the Linton on my door step.My daughter and I had a Fillet Steak. It was cooked to perfection. Heaven on a plate. If you get the chance. Do pop in. You won't be disappointed.
This was our first visit here and can honestly say it won’t be our last . Staff very welcoming and food was lovely . Doesn’t matter were we go for a meal my husband always has fish & chips and he says this was the best he has had in a long time . Big thank you to Pat for

What a little gem of a place. Well worth a visit if you are out and about in East Lothian. The village is like going back in time in a good way. Plus the Linton Hotel just sets off a perfect visit. A warm welcome from Pat and the team and great food.
Called in for drink rib eye and liver and onions. Not disappointed staff friendly, efficient and professional. Food good. Nice atmosphere would recommend.

It's time dining there and found the staff so courteous and friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Food was great , both Rib Eye Steaks cooked to perfection ( my wife likes hers cremated). Dessert was heaven and the wine wasn't far behind. Will definitely be back soon.

What a nice surprise! This pub/restaurant has been transformed by the new owners.nicely decorated,spacious dining room, Fabby menu,which was very varied and changes regularly(so I'm told). Because it was St Patricks Day, the was good "craic" and great music . Will definitely be back soon. Thanks to Pat and staff for a great night.

Stopped at the steakhouse for a meal on our way home. The service was wonderful and the steak might be the best I've ever had! We each ordered a meal with a 6oz steak on it but it certainly seemed like more than 6oz, definitely good value for money. Dog friendly too which is a huge bonus
Staff were so kind and accommodating. We had to leave very early in the morning and couldn't catch breakfast, but they made us a bagged lunch to go which was very kind. The only thing is that the toilet was very hard to flush, but other than that the hotel was great, and the food at the steakhouse was fantastic
Stayed with friends over the coronation bank holiday, staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble.
The coronation menu for Saturday night was incredible, only surpassed by our fabulous waiter Nathan who will remain in our hearts for ever!
Sunday evening was a game of Alexa karaoke with the locals who were warm, inviting and almost tuneful!
The rooms were small but clean and comfortable, we’d definitely stay again 🥰
Popped in for an anniversary meal, nice choice on the menu, food was lovely, couldn't fault it, not a crumb left on the plate 😋 reasonably priced too, will definitely go back, only thing I would say is restaurant was a bit stuffy & warm for me...
Went for a quiet lunch with friends and it did not disappoint. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious.

I did lose my bracelet and had hoped to receive a call back after reporting it lost, but unfortunately, I haven't heard anything since. Definitely heard something drop to the floor so I'm guessing the next guests at our table bagged themselves a very nice but very sentimental bracelet at my expense.

The Chef nailed it, tasty steak pie and mash followed with real good apple crumble and custard. The staff were friendly and very attentive. You will not be disappointed.
Had lovely steaks tonight at Thursday steak night. One of the best steaks I have had. Service really good as was the wine.
Checked in here today for work, first impressions really good location is ideal as I'm between haddington & dunbar rooms are nice and fresh, and I asked regarding the food menu, WELL the food is absolutely outstanding the chef deserves a medal best steak meal I've ever tasted out any restaurant by a country mile! Sizzling steak with chicken & chips just simply out of this world and mouth watering 👌 exactly what you want.
Nice little hotel, decent room, for family of 4, TV didn't work but other than that was spot on, comfy beds, nice towels, soaps etc. Dinner was great, good menu with kids options, and breakfast was really good too. Great value , would definitely recommend for exploring the area , loads of great towns and beaches all in 15 mins

Lovely traditional wee pub with an excellent menu and a log fire roaring in the winter. classic pub favourites well done, and everything always tasty especially the fish and chips. Plenty of table space through the back and upstairs, and cosy pub vibes in the front. Friendly staff and local punters. Do a nice Xmas lunch too when the season's right.
This was booked for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The hotel and in particular Sarah couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating beforehand and on the day. The food and service on the day were fantastic and really added to the occasion. There were 24 guests and everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you so much.
Excellent food, really nice staff. They had a table set up for us and the dogs, within a few minutes of calling. Great quality and great value. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.
