It was a very Nice place to eat and to talk to other people. The barkeepers were very friendly and we enjoyed our meal. Our boys loved the dog and playing the games.

Large family lunch including four children aged 5 and under. All the roasts turned up at the same time so we could all eat together. Great food, great service. Big thanks to Murray and the team. Be back soon

Beautiful setting and good food, pity the weather wasn't warm enough to sit outside, that would have been the icing on the cake.

Lovely village pub. Very good food and friendly service. The 3 times we visited the pub it was quite busy so maybe best to book a table if you want to eat. Will definitely return when back in the area.

Great place for a restaurant style meal at a country pub. Very good selection of starters and main meals, with some classical favourites too. Plenty of choice of beers and ales, and wine selection is a priority for the owners. Food is well presented and quickly served. I would recommend booking as table in doors are limited but plenty of room outside for those sunny day when the views are stunning.

Amazing pub where dogs are welcome, excellent food. Prepared fresh, meat is prime and fish was very fresh, the pie was amazing and real home made, including pastry

Super friendly staff and a jar dropping view make this 5 star easy. The food was fine and the interior was a mix of historic and upvc extension. All said I would definitely go back again, wonderful location!

Stopped off on our way from Hampshire to Devon. The pub looks shabby from the outside, but once inside it's very clean, cosy and comfortable. We had a really good Sunday roast and the general menu was interesting with good veggie and vegan options. Very reasonable prices. The dogs were made very welcome. There is a nice beer garden at the side and seating on the green. We will be returning next time we are passing by.

Fantastic family meal, and a welcome break from the monotony of the A303! I had the bacon-wrapped chicken with crispy potato patties and a lovely basil sauce. Everyone else were delighted with their mains. Friendly and speedy service. Lovely views from the bar and dining room.

Couldn't fault anything. Lovely nut roast with all the trimmings. Rare that you get such a great (and tastey) option for vegetarians. Great value for money and lovely beer.

We were just passing for a night. I have to say: the welcome, the beer, the wine and the food were just perfect. 100%! I can’t recommend it highly enough. My many many thanks. Good prices too. Nothing to regret, well done!

It's well worth a visit, lovely pub, lovely home cooked food and very welcoming staff. Turn off the A350 at the traffic lights for Stourhead then left at the sign post for The Fox and Hounds. It's a narrow country lane but we'll worth the drive to find such a gem. We will definitely be back.
