Food is always superb.I usually hate buffets too but food is always fresh and topped up as diners arrive .The tandoori mixed grill is to die for too.My fave place to dine in EK .
Excellent Scottish Indian. Generous portions and friendly staff. Pre-theatre menu is a bargain at 9.95 (before 6:30PM). Not sure I've seen a theatre in EK, but won't argue.
Food is amazing. Our server was friendly and non intrusive. The nan bread is to die for. Only issue we had was another diner who wanted us all to hear his business , but this is not the restaurants fault xx
First time visit this evening, Had the chasni as I always do. I mean when I say this was the best chasni I have tasted, would highly recommend.

Went here for a birthday dinner with friends, the service was brilliant. Everyone enjoyed the food.
Must admit it was very quiet on the Monday, don't know if would be the same on a busy Saturday night.

I was working in East Kilbride staying at a Premier Inn about 2 mile away, thought I'd try somewhere different than the Beefeater. Went on a Wednesday night, not many people in here, had poppadoms to start with the really tasty onions and dips. Had a Chicken Banarasi (never heard of or tried before)main with garlic naan. This was the tastiest curry I think I've ever had!!! If I'm ever in E K again will 100% drop in. 2 pints of Kingfisher too, all around £28.
I recently visited Punjabi tadka with my family. I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this place. They offer the best of food that is absolutely tasty and delicious. Their staff is polite and well spoken as well.
One of the best authentic Panjabi food available in Glasgow with certainly at the best price.
You can feel the real spice of Indian authentic food there. Besides, The guy at the counter offered superb service. 5 stars.

Owner is very gentle person and so is the staff.

We have been to this gem of an Indian lots of time we went last nite as family of 8 but we have been lots of time before so had my husband with colleagues the food is outstanding and the price is very good. The staff are so friendly the young manager is very good at his job defo would recommend people to pay a visit will not be disappointed .
One best lamb bhoona we have ever had. Food was so flavorful.
It was a family visit and we will definitely come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Punjabi Tadka, an Indian restaurant in East Kilbride . Overall, my experience was quite enjoyable.
To start off, the atmosphere was lovely. The interior was decorated with traditional Indian art and the lighting was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.
Speaking of the menu, there were plenty of options to choose from. The restaurant offered a variety of dishes from different regions of India, and I appreciated that they labeled which dishes were vegetarian or gluten-free. I decided to try the Daal Makhni , which was recommended by the waiter, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were bold and delicious, and the portion size was just right.
I also tried a couple of the appetizers, including the Chicken Tikka and the Vegetable Pakora, and they were both fantastic. The naan bread was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the chutneys and sauces that came with the appetizers were flavorful and complemented the dishes well.
Overall, I would highly recommend Punjabi Tadka for anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine in East Kilbride. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely be returning soon.
Had the sharing platter to start and everything was fab and the mushroom dip/sauce was great ,then had the butter chicken and Peshwari naan was giant and very good, friendly service
Today our daughter collected a large takeaway for a family birthday meal the food was absolutely amazing best Indian meal we have tasted and large portions and a big thank you for the birthday drink highly recommend 😊
Best Indian restaurant in EK. Try the fish dishes. You will not be disappointed.
On this visit I had the Himalayan hot pot for the first time. Very nice curry with tender lamb, mushrooms, onions and peppers. Not too hot and I can recommend.
Authentic Indian Dishes out of India
My wife and I have been coming to Punjabi Tadka regularly for many years. Over all these years, the quality has never dipped and Punjabi Tadka is, in our opinion, the best Indian Restaurant - indeed one of the best restaurants bar none - in East Kilbride and beyond. A personal favourite is the zaffrani salmon tikka and there is a wide range of dishes on the menu. The staff are very friendly and are keen to help you choose something different if you are so minded. It sometimes feels like East Kilbride's best-kept secret but its consistently excellent food means that it deserves to be more widely-known.
Fantastic food. Not at all greasy. Great service. A new favourite.
