Been curious to try this place for a while, took the courage to go in and walk all the way downs to the back of the restaurant. It's a complete different vibe, families and friends and a cheerful setting. Menu prices seemed reasonable. Wanted to try something light and not a major order. We ordered the chapli kebabs and Sabzi with Naan. The food was delicious, kebabs fresh, moist and full of flavour! Pleasantly surprised. I'd come back here in a heartbeat to try their kabuli pilau. Really authentic food. The highlight of the experience was the service, super friendly and the Waitress was really sweet and really attentive. Highly recommend!
Afghan cuisine, authentic ambient Chaikhana atmosphere, great hospitality and scented, aromatic, spicy food.
If you aren't familiar with Afghan food, it's like a fusion between Indian and Iranian, or South-meets-Central Asia. Expect succulent Kebabs, crispy Naans, spicy Curries, more-ish Chutneys, scented Rice and more. I highly recommend this restaurant to any North Indians and Pakistanis.
I do wish it was a little more open, but the chill-out vibe is quite nice too. It does feel a little closed off but they've done great with the location. I think it's nice by myself, or would be nice with the boys. I'm not too sure about bringing a girl or the family here though.
While my "Chicken Stew" (which I would call a Chicken Saalan, but I'm not sure what they would call it) was SO GOOD, the customer service here was actually the highlight.
I always come here for lunch with friends whether we call ahead or just turn up the staff are always very good. Food is fresh and tasty service is great and there is a lovely sitting area at the back great for groups of upto 10-12 people. It's also heated and very nicely decorated. Small restaurant but very nice.
Food is really good, especially the pizza and kebabs
I had an amazing dining experience at Chapandaz, and I must commend our waitress, Kiran. Her warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service truly elevated our evening. She made us feel like valued guests, and her passion for her work was evident throughout. Can’t wait to dine in next time again!
This place is absolutely amazing. The food is spectacular, the naan omg you haven't lived until you've tried proper Afghan naan with one of their kharais. It's not cheap but the quality of the food and the authentic atmosphere inside is to die for. Can't recommend this place enough.
Have been meaning to try here with my fiancee for a while the food is delicious the staff are so friendly and helpful Have been twice in the last month and we are already talking about when we are going next I highly recommend this place give it a try if you are in the area
Wow the food was amazing the customer service was WooW
Love the enviroment
Delicious chicken and qabuli palow
Love the food and service
This cuisine is hard to find, I had lamb shank with rice, carrot & raisin. I can confirm the food is sexy
Went with family and received a welcoming, friendly service. We sat cosily and enjoyed delicious, traditional food. The kids liked their pizza which was also cooked well and a generous size.
Had the pilaw and Afghan kebab. Full of flavour. The pilaw comes with lamb shank, cooked perfectly. Disappointed on the amount of lamb.
Prices are great. Meat was cooked to perfection. Amazing portions!!!! Whilst there are negatives the quality and taste far out rank them! When asking for tap water make sure you mention ‘jug water’ as there was a little confusion when we initially asked for tap water.
For our liking the qabali pilau had far too much raisins as from other similar restaurants when we order it has a little less.
We waited over 30 mins for the first set of dishes to arrive which ended up being the lamb karahi and bread, then the aubergine, the qabali pillau over 10 mins later and then the chicken wings another maybe 15 mins later despite it being a starter!
Sahil took my order over the phone and he was so polite and I requested him to make fresh food when food arrived it was soooo yummy. I am going to order again. Yummmyy even the delivery driver was soooo sweet. Thank you
