The food and atmosphere in here was so enjoyable! The lady who served us served with a smile and sense of humour which was lovely
Actually one of the definitely better pubs in EG for foods.
Stopped by en route to our destination on the coast to catch a premier league game on BT sport. Friendly staff and very decent food including a first-rate sausage and mash. Lots of dogs in evidence.
Visited The Crown on Tuesday for drinks and lunch.
Plenty of customers ordering food which resulted in a small delay, but this wasn't a problem as we weren't in a hurry and it showed that everything was being freshly cooked to order. Which is nice!
This pub has recently been refurbished and the decor is attractive.

Once again top notch. Old worldly feel and lovely locals and staff...Good music or Sport and Beer Garden plus outdoor seating area. Must visit and enjoy. All government guidelines are still in place therefore please keep up the hygiene and safety for all our wellbeing...blessed
This is a very friendly pub with fantastic atmosphere & bar staff are very welcoming. Been in twice up til now, going again for Sunday lunch. If up East Grinstead again will definitely call back in. Food is excellent & great value too.
The senior citizen menu was a great choice. My chicken and mushroom pie was amazing as were my companions' meals. Great value.
Had the pensioners lunch. Menu wasn't extensive but food was very good. Service very pleasant.

We visited the Crown as a group away on a training course. Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff were fantastic! Food came out really quick, so we weren't left waiting. We were offered 3 menus and the variety of food was really good! Loved the decor and the relax feel of this pub, would highly recommend. Thank you to George, jaz, James, Sarah, Craig and Mark for making is feel welcome. Xx
