If ever I want chips or fish and chips this is where I like to go. Nice staff. Food very nice. And nice location in the middle of Historic East Grinstead area. They're award winning this chippie. And have been outstanding for years now. Especially during and after Covid times this became my favourit
Visiting the area from Lincolnshire, staff in Waitrose recommended this and it was superb. Haddock and Chips, a bit pricey compared to ooop north but very tasty. Staff very friendly. Will be back before we go home.
I get fish & chips here every week for an elderly friend. I get her the child's size portion (£5.50) which is the perfect size for her. It makes her week! She looks forward to it so much.
The food is delicious - the fish is white & tasty , batter crispy & the chips are perfect. I get a nice welcome

Bit stingy on the curry sauce, though, so they could actually fill the pot, seeing as it's so small!
Fish (haddock) and chips were good, though, although a tad on the dry side.

My wife had a small cod. We shared the chips. I had a chicken burger, which consisted of a number of small breaded fillets.

By far the best fish and chips in the area. We always go for a small haddock and chips, which is plenty. It's very well run with quick service, despite being very popular (ie lots of customers).

Friendly. Quick service. Great fish and chips and nice to see skate on offer aswell as the usual cod etc crispy thin batter, moist flaky fish cooked perfectly. Tasty chips just too many to eat.

The Gluten free Tuesday's are a fantastic idea. I tried a gluten free Hadock today as my mum has gluten free as does a friend and it was delicious!!
Also the home made tartar sauce has to be tried. 😋
Best fish & chips in the area. Would be nice if portions were a little bit bigger, or an option for larger fish especially the haddock is smaller than many other fish & chip shops. Otherwise perfect - in fact probably the best fish and chips I’ve had anywhere.
I couldn’t recommend a better fish bar in the area if I tried. Fish is skinned which allows to enjoy all of it, without having to exclude half the batter along the bottom because it has the skin attached. The chips compete with any other shops’ in the area, and I am a personal fan of its easily recy
