I have been coming to The Mug Tree since my Son was 3 days old. He is now 7, and I have a 5 year old daughter. The owners and the atmosphere are so welcoming, and attentive. The attention to detail and the care is clear.

Wonderful Afternoon Tea, he was all out of scones so made some fresh just for us!
All the other cakes were amazing too. Even the sandwiches were perfect. He really took the time to make it special for us.
We had Breakfast Tea and Earl Grey, both were top notch.
Very nice staff , called up before to reserve afternoon tea , had a lot of selection couldn’t finish it all so they provided us take away boxes , they even added a personal touch to one of the cupcakes congratulating my fiancée on her PhD. graduation. So lovely!
A surpringly good tea shop just off of the EG High Street. My friend bought me a tea here a little while back ago, and it was really a cosy little place to sit in and natter. Good place.
I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to eat when I walked in but the big choice of sundaes settled my mind very quickly. This is how I ended up devouring a yummy Lotus Biscuit Sundae! In the meantime, my wife was enjoying her salmon bagel with salad and crisps on the side.

The service was welcoming and friendly. They were kind enough to do afternoon tea at 11am! It was great value, and more than you would normally get elsewhere. Everything tasted good, great chai lattes too! We came here because it had the best reviews in East Grinstead and it did not disappoint!
