We had a lovely 2 night stay here in August. The room was comfortable, breakfast very tasty and the pub food well-prepared, good value and very satisfying. Beer excellent. The staff were great: really friendly and helpful. The location is ideal. Highly recommended.

Wow what a place with blue sky and sunshine around. The whitebait starter with a cold tropical cider was just divine. Its like a hidden gem in the South Downs. The pub was just so lovely, welcoming, cosy and very clean. Can't wait to go back again.
