Attended our friends wedding. All staff were fantastic and looked after us all so well. Wedding breakfast was superb
Have visited many times for lunch and the food and ambience of the restaurant is always extremely good. However we felt that the service was not so good on this occasion and the table had not been set properly. No side plates provided and cutlery incorrectly placed. Very unusual at this beautiful venue. We are hoping that this was just a one off mistake.

We are staying on the Isle of Wight for a holiday and decided to come to the restaurant for Sunday lunch after reading the reviews. The staff were so attentive and friendly. My husband had salmon fishhcake and I had mushroom pate as starters - absolutely lovely. He had the beef and I had the pork loin - beautifully cooked and the accompanying vegetables were so tasty. We will definitely be coming back.
Reception was welcoming. Room was traditional but could benefit with upgrade n modernization. Dining was good standard but not fine dining standards.
Fantastic room was the bridal suite even though weve been married 30 yrs food superb highly recommend
