Lovely cosy pub with great beers, friendly service, a wood-burner and a dart board. Perfect!

Great atmosphere at the reopening. Amazing what you can do with a lick of paint and fresh cut flowers! Excited to see where the new landlord takes the pub :)
I don't drink alcohol so can't comment on the beer, but most people appeared to be enjoying it. I had an alcohol free ghost ship.
Absolutely superb pub, very welcoming, extremely clean. Lovely pint of Guinness, big garden and warm roaring fire. Loved the atmosphere too. Would definitely come again.

Love this place. Its amazing having such a great welcoming pub only a 5 minute walk away. The staff are very friendly and the pub is always clean and tidy. The decor is lovely and food boards are awesome. Such a great change since the guys have taken over, thank you for creating such a welcoming friendly pub x
Wasn't sure what to expect last time we went in there we were glared at had a frosty reception,rude and felt extremely unwelcome to the point of feeling you were a nuisance l haven't a clue what there problem was. I'm glad to say that with new owners they are the complete opposite.we had a nice relaxing time there after a long walk . I hope they get the custom they need and make a go of it we are loosing to many of our country pubs. I understand they have function's there and live bands
Pub is small, but cosy and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the Sunday Lunch was very tasty. I had a Chicken Roast, with all the trimmings, plenty of gravy and crumble and custard to finish.....what more could you want. I would visit again.
Yay an open pub on a Sunday afternoon 🍺💜. Lovely little spot out of the way. Nice staff and decent drinks too. Hope to visit again soon
This is a nice and friendly country pub. Good for walking to. Dog friendly. Although they've recently lost their kitchen but when we went they had a visiting pizza oven in a van. Delightful
