A typical English popular country pub which serves good, traditional food.
The welcoming and pleasant service is great, and the Sunday roast is excellent. A bowl of vegetables, cheesy baked cauliflower and broccoli, roast potatoes with a choice of meat. Hooray! Chicken served with Lemon and Thyme st
My family and I came here for Sunday lunch, having read reviews,and were not disappointed. The food was freshly cooked with lovely crispy roast potatoes and loads of fresh vegetables. The roast beef was good and a nice large portion. Very good value for money. Worth a detour down the country roads
Had a lovely meal this evening. Super friendly staff and our steak and ale pie + ham egg and chips were delicious! Really good price and lovely big beer garden.
Quaint old village pub with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food is amazing but I recommend booking as the pub is small with few tables for eating. Very dog friendly. We ate here twice in our three day stay in the area. Once as a group of six on arrival night then as a couple for Sunday

We all went here on a Wednesday evening and were made all very welcome. The atmosphere was good with the feel of the olde worlde surroundings. The food was good from a varied main menu with excellent starters and deserts. Good selection of ales, wines and non alcoholic drinks. Dog friendly. We found

Some of the best pub food we've eaten. Very good value. Seemed short staffed but was very friendly and helpful for allergens etc. Would definitely recommend
