We came here for a quick pint waiting for a bus into york and we asked a couple of questions about when they were going etc and the guy behind the bar was very chatty and welcoming. A lovely welcoming pub, really nice staff and real value for money. They serve a delicious ploughmans lunch and paninis. They were also very kind to our dog and brought her a bowl of water, would highly recommend for a visit :)
