First time visit. Lady behind the bar was very helpful and welcoming. We had our dog with us and that was welcomed. Very comfortable and enjoyable couple of beers.
Just had a ploughmans and prawn salad. Both excellent. One of best ploughmans I've had in a long time.
Sometimes in life you need a good pub, serving good beer a screen to watch the football good grub and the added benefit of been dog friendly. The Angel ticks everyone of these boxes. It was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Superb little place.

This is an absolutely fantastic pub, we came here on the 25th of October 2022 and I must say I loved it. The staff are so helpful kind and friendly and the beer is perfect. If you are a real ale drinker like myself you will love it. I urge everybody to use this pub because it is the best in the area.
When in Easingwold I always call in here for a drink. My family used to run the pub back in the 60's and it always makes me think about those who aren't here any more. Always great service and a smile from the barstaff.
If you like great, traditional pub food, you should not pass up the Angel. Outstanding scampi, steak pie, and prawn sandwich. Generous portions, and the chips! The chips are to die for - just like Grandma used to make. Excellent service, lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
Good selection of beers. Good pricing and friendly service. It was a bit loud and lively for me, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Great freshly cooked food with very generous portions. Pub itself a bit gloomy and a little tired looking. Toilets could do with a bit of love and modernisation. There was a giant TV with football playing but because we were seated at the other end of the room it didn't disturb us at all. If you want a reasonably priced good meal this is definitely a place to try.
