Lovely lunch at The Mole & Chicken! Back under new management and seemed much more settled than during the lockdown days. Food was very nice - nothing pretentious and nothing particularly outstanding, but all of the plates were cleared - evidence of very nice pub grub on the upper end of the market.

Lovely hotel room, very quirky and the complimentary drinks in the room were lovely and high quality. A leak in the bathroom meant there was a very wet and cold floor in the morning. Great for an overnight stay. Interesting rooms with a great view, little terrace and seat outside. We were at a Waddesdon Concert just a few miles away. Good breakfast. A lovely country pub well off the beaten track.
