Fantastic food, very friendly staff, great atmosphere, great prices, here on holiday will definitely try to get back before we leave the area. One of the best, if not the best Sunday lunches ever. Cannot praise this place enough!
Had a beautiful meal on Mother's Day. The food was absolutely lovely and probably the best pub roast I've ever had. Decent portions of succulent meat, homemade Yorkshire, proper roasties and loads of hot steaming fresh vegetables! My daughter had a bramble crumble for dessert which was enormous!
On top of that the service was friendly and quick to say how busy they were. We will definitely be back.

Finally found somewhere that does a beautiful Sunday lunch! My father booked a table for us to come today and we couldn’t fault the food or the service. Very friendly atmosphere and food came very quickly and all fresh and homemade. We will definitely be back........soon! Thank you.

Fantastic food for my wife's 40th birthday. Gluten free, vegetarian and carnivore all catered for. Brilliant staff and excellent atmosphere.
Visited on Easter Sunday and only roast dinners were available (perfect!). Best I've ever had - bar grandma's! Food arrived very quickly and was delicious. Quite busy so suggest booking ahead.
An exceptional Sunday lunch at The Tiger Inn!
The only menu option at this time of day is traditional Sunday lunch and they do it so well, I'm struggling to think of a better one that I've ever experienced. Swift service, good prices, a very enjoyable experience.
My only regret is that we don't live locally and were just in the area for a day out, though we'd definitely go back again
Weren't sure what to expect. As we were visiting our daughter for the first time and she wanted to treat us. Booked a table and were instantly made welcome. Service was excellent and food was amazing, such a lovely meal. Definitely going back again when we visit. Our daughter thought it was so good she has booked to go for Sunday lunch as well. 😃👍
Second time visit for Sunday lunch for two and again we weren't disappointed. Absolute quality value and well presented meal with cracking portions. I had the mixed meats and wife beautifully cooked roast lamb, fresh n tasty veg and excellent attentive service without hovering. Comfortable, clean, airy and warm dining room. We'll be back! Fabulous! We found this pub by accident for lunch. Came back the following day for evening meal. What a gem!! Lovely atmosphere, great service and unforgettable food. HIGHLY recommended
Food came in a reasonable time, as there were other orders before us. I had fish pie, the missus had a burger with all the trimmings. Polite and friendly staff who checked if all was well. A nice roaring fire, cold and wet outside. Have driven past many times, but this was our first visit. Will definitely be back.
Very attentive and always smiling. Food was great although the sauce did take away the taste if the fish in the fish pie a little. The pub itself has a great location, plenty parking for patrons only and great to see a working log fire being used. Would recommend.

We were impressed with the quality of the food. I had sausage and mash and my wife had lasagna, both of which were home made.
They have a fair selection of beers, but no hand pulled ales.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the locals are also very welcoming.
We were allowed to take our small dog in as well, which is an extra bonus.
We will definitely be back for more food and drinks
Held a small family gathering here recently. The buffet they provided was exceptional and plentiful. The staff were so helpful and super friendly. All of our guests were thrilled. Thank you for looking after us and we would recommend anyone eating and visiting the Tiger Inn.
My second time visiting, this time on a Thursday on way back from Billingham. Pub was quite, so not much of an atmosphere, last time I was here was a Friday and it was packed. The service was excellent and the food fantastic, I went for the chicken stroganoff, it was awesome, loved every mouthful, I will definitely go again, hopefully next time during the summer. If you haven't been and are in the area. Go visit, totally recommended.
