We dined there to celebrate one of our friend's birthday. Apart from the pub, they have a restaurant section too. Very simple looking but we were the only party at that time and that was all we needed. As they noticed bday party we got complimentary prosecco which was a very nice gesture. The food w

Such a shame.
This pub is closed again after issues with the lease agreement between landlord and tenant.
After a renovation and and enthusiastic land lady injecting some life and soul into the pub , we are once again closed!!!

Booked as a venue for a wake. Emma and team did an amazing job. Couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with special diets - there was plenty of food and it was all really tasty. So welcoming and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub.
Had the Sunday carvery and it was absolutely amazing. The staff and Chef were so friendly and helpful.
Very family-friendly pub. Bring your dog if you can. Good prices and amazing Sunday roast 😋 👌
We 'popped' in for a quick beer. What a nice pub. Really genuine friendly service. Good real ales. I like American pale ales but the Charles Wells bombardier was excellent. They have dining in a separate dining facility which we didn't try but judging by the general ambiance and great service I woul
Good food and Red Stripe on tap. Boom!
The Sunday carvery - fantastic and includes 'greens' unlike so many other popular carveries. Sittings at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm, booking recommended.
The fixed menu is also excellent, I recommend the pan fried duck.
Superb staff ;-)

Nice pub. Been done up since I last visited, looking good. Guinness was also good. 👍
Great friendly atmosphere, and a nice big garden for the kids to run around.

Front of the pub is a bit cramped and dark but plenty of seating, this place comes into its own in the summer be

The carvery had a choice of 3 meats; Beef, Turkey and Gammon. I had a mi
Very nice steaks. Particularly great chips (triple cooked). Great waitress Harriet. Never thought it would be as good as this but I'll come back again and again. And not stupid prices either.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff.
The lady manageress here is very nice. she is very good at what she does.
We are with Charles wells as well so we know how important it is to offer great food which is what you do here and a nice friendly bar to.
