Simply fantastic. The seafood is spectacular (I can recommend the Misto Mare), the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxed and the bill was a very pleasant surprise. I've already recommended Piccola Italia to everyone who will listen and we'll be going back for another visit soon.

The location is on Ealing Green, looking directly across to Walpole House and park and within in 5 minutes of Questors Theatre and all the shops in the centre of Ealing. Today we stopped for a Sunday morning coffee. The menu is extensive and the atmosphere is charming.

Italy in Ealing. I was married to an Italian woman from the south for two and half years. She loves cooking and so do her parents. I do know a thing or two about Italian cuisine and taste.
When you experience the real Italian family cooking, I can guarantee you that you will always be constantly questioning any subsequent Italian cuisine. Piccola Italia gives you just that missed experience.
I am usually reluctant to go to an Italian restaurant. Simply because you can close your eyes and predict almost exactly what will be on the menu: pizza, pasta Bolognese, carbonate, spaghetti, you name it.
At Piccola, I am always amazed with the originality and new dishes constantly updated on their chef specials.
I have become so familiar with the place that the staff will instantly apologise to me when there is nothing new for me to try. Funny isn't it?
Seafood with pasta or on their own have been my favorites here. I usually start with my favorite misto mare, calamari, scallops or the prawn salad if there is nothing new.
For the mains, I honestly can't remember now my favorite main dishes. I am often complaining when they take them off the menu.
But when I really can't choose, I go for the linguini cartoccio or any of the backed fish they have fresh on the day. I rarely order pizza, but my my my!!! the sour dough and the flexibility to combine your own toppings is always fun.
I know it sounds pathetic but I do love my food. Piccola Italia has bocome my first place of choice whenever I am feeling lazy to cook and yet want a real gastronomic experience.
Oh, since it is summer, try the Negroni as an aperitif.

A superb restaurant in the heart of Ealing. I regularly visit Ealing because I have relatives there, and I decided to sample this restaurant because it appeared to be good value. I have to say that I was very impressed with the price and, more importantly, the quality of the food.
One of the pizzas I do recommend is the Capricciosa pizza. Piccola Italia make it very well! In fact, every day, all of their pizza dough is freshly made on the premises, and it really gives the pizzas a lighter feel while maintaining the authentic taste, especially because the base is quite flat. They have some lovely pasta dishes as well, including seafood alternatives if you fancy something healthier. The daily specials are usually seafood-based, and you get the distinct fresh taste that one would expect from fish dishes. I tried a daily special comprising freshly grilled wild salmon with a prawn and garlic sauce and it was exquisite. They have a good collection of desserts, including ice-cream as well as the Torta della Nonna, which was both nicely presented and tasty.
The staff are courteous, friendly and informative when you ask them for assistance or about the menu. The food service is also excellent. Whilst I couldn't sample everything, customers were regularly coming in, so it's very popular with all age groups and they have something for everyone! I would highly recommend that you visit Piccola Italia Ealing. It's not just the great price, but the food quality is superb!

Went in for an authentic Italian meal, and boy we loved the food. The Risotto Marie Monti was perfect, the specials of the day - baked cod fish with aubergines was fresh and very nice on the palate.
The desserts were absolutely gorgeous - I could eat a tub of the creme brulee. Tiramisu , very commendable as well.
The meal did definitely cheer me up after a very otherwise bad day. just wish our waitress was a bit friendly though. Nevertheless would go back again and again for the food itself. So well priced and tasty. Much better than the rubbish one has to empty pockets for at Jamie's Italian !!

The friendly and welcoming staff is always a great way to start a dining experience. The restaurant places a high value on customer satisfaction, which is always a great sign.
The special starter mushrooms in tomato sauce with cheese sounds like a great way to start a meal. The combination of mushrooms, tomato sauce, and cheese creates a rich and savoury flavour. However, I am not a fan of tomato sauce, so if you are in the same boat as me, consider ordering something else.
The Ravioli alla Carbonara is a delicious main course. The combination of stuffed pasta with guanciale and creamy eggs in a Parmesan sauce topped with crispy pancetta sounds like a perfect blend of flavours and textures. The parmesan sauce can sometimes be salty, but I enjoyed the dish.
Lastly, the Tiramisú al Pistacchio is the perfect way to end the meal. Pistachio mascarpone cream, coffee, and Savoyard biscuit create a delicious and unique twist on the classic tiramisu.

Came here for a Birthday lunch with family who love Italian food and are quite fussy about it. The food was amazing. Massive portions, fresh ingredients and a good variety to suit all tastes. They also have a good selection of seafood related dishes - as they advertise themselves as a seafood specialist.
The waitress/host was very friendly and nice, but really slow. We had to ask for various things several times. There were times when she stood chatting to friends while we tried to get her attention. This was during a quiet Saturday afternoon with only 3 tables taken (including ours). Hopefully during busier times there are extra staff! I’d definitely recommend trying if you’re in the area.

We went for my mums retirement dinner and the servers were attentive, friendly and professional. The food was exceptional and delicious. One of the guests said she could’ve eaten another sea bass because it was so good!
