Popped in with my fiancé for dinner about 4.45 on Saturday night. We hadn’t booked but they managed to give us a table. Pornstar martini for me which was lovely n Diet Coke for the driver �. Starters were grilled halloumi with salad n dressing and king prawn tempura. Both were delicious. Huge prawns in a crispy batter. Presentation was excellent. Next up was steak pie with chips n veg and a Lamd Rogan Josh with steamed rice and poppodums. Better half said best steak pie he had ever had. Tender chunks of beef on a rich gravy with crispy puff pastry. Broccoli, carrots n green beans cooked perfectly. Lamb was melt in your mouth in a rich curry sauce with a good kick. This was washed down with a cheeky wee Pinot Grigio blush. Staff were polite and very welcoming n friendly. Quick service and food piping hot. First time we’ve been but we will definitely be back ��
Four of us had our lunch here yesterday. Staff were very attentive and polite. Food was delicious. We had the fish, batter was crisp, and the mac and cheese. Can highly recommend both. Well worth a visit if you haven’t already been.
We eat here regularly...the food is always awesome and the market menu is fantastic value for money! Highly recommend! Please bring back the Apple pie!
Been meaning to come here for so long...gutted we waited. Had a great meal and cocktails. Staff very friendly and attentive. My new favourite place. Would highly recommend.
Came to the swan in March for my birthday, we were lucky to get a table after a large ladies event during the day, I was slightly concerned after such a busy day that this might hinder our evening with food running out staff being tired or struggling to recover from a busy day, this was absolutely not the case ....the atmosphere on entering was fantastic everyone in good spirits and live music playing. My husband and I were promptly seated and given our menus, the specials board being brought to the table and read to us was a great touch and set the president for the rest of the night. We were very well attended too, the food was fantastic and the gin menu was exactly what I love. Loved the friendly attitude of the staff and how attentive they were without being invasive cannot wait for my next visit and to bring the girls for one of your ladies days. Would recommend the swan to anyone without even being prompted. Fantastic

Great food, great atmosphere and a great day out with my friends! They are all asking if we can go there more often! So lucky to have this fab pub/diner in our village.
Popped in for a late lunch for 2.
The menu had a good selection and went for the 2 course option. The decor is well done and promotes a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was very tasty - nice starters. I chose the steak pie for main. The gravy was fab. as was the pastry but the meat, however, was a little firm for my liking. Overall very enjoyable and we will be back to sample more of the delicious menu.

Went for late lunch today after a recommendation. Situated on a really nice street in Eaglesham which feels like a million miles from the city, very traditional pub but doesn’t feel tired inside. Clean and great facilities. Excellent service very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Menu is really well priced and the portion sizes are very generous. Quality produce used with varied dishes on offer plenty options for veggies vegans etc. looking forward to visiting again.
What a splendid place this is! The steak and ale pie was the most delicious I have ever eaten and the young woman who served us was utterly delightful! Both of us so enjoyed our meal here and I cannot recommend it enough!
AMAZING. our waiter Martin was fabulous throughout the entire meal, food came out piping hot and fresh. Would definitely come again as well worth the 40 minute drive for us.
My favourite place for a pub lunch. Staff are great, music is smashing - foods absolutely delicious. (So tasty in fact I even eat the veg that comes with my meal which is previously unheard of) The Chicken Tempura & Steak Pie is soooo good!
Dog friendly with a really cheerful staff, the food is excellent, my wife is vegetarian and they have an excellent menu for her, for the carnivorous members of the party there was a fantastic choice. The lamb is brilliant
So happy this place is open again under new management back even better than before. Fantastic food, steak pie is even better. Service was great, food was great, we will be regular diners here again.
