Found the pub by accident as we were looking for somewhere to eat off the M11 and what a pleasant surprise. A very warm and friendly welcome from the staff and patrons.
Very reasonably priced!
Good selection of beers 🍻 including Madri.
Food came quick - even though it was around 19:00 and was delicious.
Good selection of vegetarian options!
There's a car park and garden to the rear of the pub.
Great little pub in a quiet vilage. Visited at lunchtime, and it wasn't busy.
Food arrived fairly quickly and had good portions. Food was all right, sausages and mash were good, i just prefer gravy wasnt runy, but i was very hungry so cleared the plate without issues. My colleague had fish and chips, and it was good. He was well happy with it. Fish and chips portion might look small, but trust me, those chips are huge,
Good afternoon,
In response to our attendance at the rare disease network evening meal on October 12th at 7:30 pm, we wanted to extend our gratitude to your team. Despite the late notice and taking orders via telephone, you accommodated our large group and were attentive to any dietary restrictions and allergies. We appreciate the hospitality extended to us, which included accommodating additional guests beyond the original reservation.
Moreover, we're thankful for your flexibility in allowing individuals with strict dietary requirements to self-cater while still feeling included in the group.
Thank you to all at The Plough for accommodating us. We were a party of 12 that did pre book.
Food was really nice, service excellent and loved the candles in the pudding for our grandchildren birthdays.
We will be back.... if you'll have us ....sorry if we were a little loud 😉
Great place. First time visiting. Needed a meeting place, with food, near the M11 that was open on a Monday.
So pleased we chose here. Food was great, although we all only had a snack. But chunky chips were very good. The staff were efficient, polite, and courteous. Overall, it was a very nice experience and would definitely recommend a visit.
What a little gem of a pub! Never been here before. Had lunch here last Saturday, chose the lamb shank which was very generous in size & really delicious..... so much so I nearly forgot to take a photograph!!!
The staff were very welcoming, helpful & friendly.
Being able to watch the vintage aircraft flying over from Duxford Air Museum a stones throw away was an absolute bonus!!
Found this hidden gem on the journey down to the airport and what a great place. The pub is lovely and traditional. There are plenty of guest beers to try aswell as the usual drinks. The food was lovely and very filling. Would definitely visit again when passing by
Great food and lovely staff. Had the steak and ale pie - it was amazing. Husband had the chicken, ham and leek. Both pies just packed with meat. Will definitely return when we come back down to Duxford.
Came upon this Pub by accident. Food was excellent, I can highly recommend the Lamb shanks. Welcome was very friendly, and the beer was delicious. Best Pub we visited during our short tour around Britain
Really lovely little pub. Stopped off for a Saturday lunch whilst out and about. We fed 7 people for £115. The lamb shank was very delicious and there was plenty of it. The chilli con carne was full of flavour and the steaks were succulent and cooked exactly as asked for. To top it off the staff were friendly and attentive but not obtrusive.
As a bonus we watched vintage aircraft flying over from the nearby Duxford IWM runway. NICE!
We have taken our Springador puppy to the back garden here several times now and are always greeted by friendly staff and made welcome.
The pub is recently renovated as is the garden, and both are simply beautiful.
Our favourite pub :-)
Been a couple of times now, the food is amazing. Service is great, drinks great! What's not to love. Will defo be back...
Half way meeting point for my friend and I 2nd time in using the pub. Food was good nice atmosphere staff friendly
Stopped off here for some food on the way to the channel tunnel. Absolutely wonderful little pub with fabulous homemade food. Prices very good, service excellent. Would highly recommend.
Good quality home cooked food, we had the 6oz burger and the lasagne. The burger was an excellent meal and you would have to have a huge appetite to need its 12oz big brother. The chips were crisp, fluffy and generally excellent. The lasagne was meaty, well cooked but was perhaps good rather than excellent as it could have been Flavoured a little more.
Small divert off M11 no real time added to journey. Home cooked pub food, no chain rubbish, had lovely lamb chops from the specials board. We will definitely seek them out again. Staff very friendly too
Great village pub, super beer. Excellent menu And added bonus on a Wednesday they have. Food vans
Half decent size car park. Parking also available out front.
1 or 2 high chairs available
The owners / staff are lovely. Very polite and attentive. Craft ales are nice
