I love it here. I think I visit it at least 3 times a month. I take friends, family and my clients over. I love the food, it's delicious and not your big standard fare. The service is always with a smile. I always end my cafe experience with a stroll through the shop which has some very good fresh produce and groceries. Highly recommend a stroll around the grounds too. It's so peaceful.

This place has a breath taking view, the scenery is so beautiful, you can't get enough of it,very fresh air, people start flocking very early as early as 10 o'clock. The food served here is so fresh from the garden, they grow their own food, there are no waiters you serve from a central window, you order, pay and eat. They sell English pudding, sausage rolls, vegetable pies, if you don't make it early, you will be lucky to find any food. This is stroud, there is a natural forest where you can take a walk with your peers, family. If you are around stroud, pay them a visit. A lot is happening, highly recommended.

Great place, which we walked to off the Cotswold Way. Really enjoyed the food. Definitely come again. Would suggest some more signs off main path to confirm the route there.

Immaculate grounds and very relaxing 😎 for a dog walk haven’t been in the cafe and deli ever so can’t comment as I always have the dog with me but it’s a stunning place with lake and views ! Dursley woods are a perfect backdrop to the amazing walks , has a great park for children and a hut out side for refreshments too which is open in the summer months I’m presuming.

Great place to chill under sunshine with greenery view. Reasonable price. The seat set indoors or outside. You can order the food in the restaurant or just buy the salad, pastry from the store.

We had such a lovely time visiting recently! We had lunch in the cafe courtyard (having ordered from the Deli) and then went for a walk in the grounds. My children (Aged 3 and 11) both loved it! Having had our walk, we stopped at the kiosk to get an ice cream. It was great to see that their stockists were local independent businesses! The only thing that would of made this better would be if the grounds were open to everyone, not just paying customers (Not everyone can afford even a coffee out at the moment!) However, I have not taken off a star for this as I cannot logistically think how it would work (the car park was very busy from customers alone, if people were allowed to park to come and walk the woodland, they’d lose paying customers).

Although I regularly visit this great place, I think it is worth mentioning how good it really is - especially in the context of the local area, where it stands out clearly. The deli is well stocked with a variety of local produce and the restaurant is justifiably busy! The food is fresh and extremely tasty (my lamb kotfe was particularly nice!) and the service is always very friendly, though there was a bit of a long wait for orders to be taken once we were seated. Nevertheless, this would never put me off coming again. The outside space is also a joy to walk around, with great views over Cam to the Severn Estuary.

Nice place to go for a family lunch. Lots of bits to buy from winter hats to gardening cans and little locally made crafts. As a first time visitor it wasn’t particularly clear where you needed to go, you have to sort of bumble your way around until you find the cafe.

Beautiful setting, with stunning views. I went when it was scorching hot, so it was easy to imagine myself in some Mediterranean place! The food is delicious, if pricey, but the staff is lovely and helpful. There is a huge range of deli options for lunch and delicious pastries for breakfast. The deli shop also sells a huge range of groceries.

Gorgeous place to visit for a coffee/smoothie/ice cream. Lovely deli with lots of things to tempt your taste buds. Garden/gift shop and the cafe. Not a massive choice of food options when we visited and fairly pricey, but nice food. Cakes looked amazing also!

Popped in around 10:30am for a coffee and cake with wife. Cafe was fairly full. Cheerful staff giving table service. Only hot food at weekends. Clean toilets. Wonderful views across countryside.

Lovely place to visit and was intending to make use of the considerable walking routes but alas it was just to warm. We enjoyed a good lunch although the new after covid prices take some getting used too

First visit today , beautiful grounds shop , cafe . Had a wonderful time with my two friends. But a huge well done to the cafe staff. It’s not easy eating out when you have allergies but the young man I spoke to was amazing he looked up every cake so I could choose. 3 of the amazing cakes displayed ,I was able to have . He even took the time to check with the kitchen that my choice was ok. First class service I will be back Thank you

Great place to lose a few hours. Decent play park for children (and me), amazing walks through a very quiet forest at the back. Lovely artisan food and drink shop selling zero waste so you fill a paper bag or bring your own container. Superb pork pie, sausage rolls and deep fried crunchy falafels. Outside coffee hut for hot drinks and ice creams. 2 downsides were all I counted, no outside bins, sausage rolls were a little small for £2.95
