I would definitely recommend a visit here. The lady was so friendly and helpful. The toasties are delicious and the cakes are amazing!!! Very reasonable prices too.

The cakes and scones are another level. The cheesecakes are the best I’ve had, and I’m hard man to please with cheesecakes! The peanut butter one 10/10.
Everything is made there too, not bought in and pretending to be homemade like other places often do.
It truly is a wonderful little place and highly recommended.
Just popped in here with family for lunch and it was lovely.

Gorgeous, fresh cakes/scones and I opted for a scone with jam and cream. Sister had the biscoff chocolate egg filled with biscoff cheesecake filling, that was just gorgeous !!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming and it was very clean and tidy. They also have water for the dogs at the door ! Can highly recommend Maple Pattiserie !
We first came across this small & friendly family-run patisserie not long after it first opened last year & what a find! Everything is made in the shop, the coffee is great & the cakes are fabulous 👌 When we visited yesterday we discovered Maple has recently been awarded Durham Baker of the Year which is no surprise & so well-deserved..fantastic 🥳
Fantastic place, very friendly staff. Heavenly cakes and delicious coffee. It took us approx 10mins walk from the train station. Place is located on Durham Riverwalk right on the tourist trail to the Cathedral. Recommen any day! Thank you
A simple toastie hit the spot. Excellent locally roasted coffee. Brilliant tarte au citron. Great to have a sheltered seating area outside.
Best coffee we have had on our trip to the UK! The cake was delicious too. The extra details make a difference. Definitely recommend you stop here while in Durham!

Arrived for a coffee and seen the amazing homemade delights they had on selection! Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful- family run business. We bought a few different things cheese cake tarts to name a few. Best desserts I’ve had in a seriously long time! Would absolutely recommend this spot! Will absolutely be back for more! 10/10
