We had a lovely lunch here, food was superb especially the chilled Asian Beef noodles, great location and fabulous staff.
100% recommended.
Great calamari and spicy dip and Tequila Sunrise on a beautiful sunny day.
Another day I had pancakes with Marple syrup and bacon. A large cup of Earl Grey tea and a perfect latte.
This is a cute place down on the water. When we arrived it says wait to be seated. No one ever looked over, so we just went to the bar and ordered.
Drink prices are on par with a posh bar in Durham but does have a nice outdoor area.
We will be back as we want to try the food.

Had an absolutely amazing whispering Angel bottomless brunch with friends to today and would totally recommend this. Definitely value for money, great venue, fantastic atmosphere and the best staff and management that make you feel so welcome. A definite must visit place if you are in Durham. 10 out

Lovely outdoor seating next to the river. Service was very good and didn't have to wait too long for some food. Chicken strips were really good and fries were also good. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
We stumbled upon on this place as part of a stag doo and what a place it was. We were quite a large group but we were welcomed by the manager and given an outside seating area together (all socially distanced of course). Lovely place overlooking the river with indoor and outdoor seating. Came here last year for a few cocktails before going for a meal with some friends, great selection of cocktails all reasonably priced. Kind, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend giving here a visit!🍹🍸🥂.
Been here twice now for lunch/cocktails and have enjoyed both times. The 2-4-1 cocktails were delicious and brilliant value for money, and the food I had was really tasty. The riverside location is really nice to escape the hustle bustle of town and provides a calm atmosphere to catch up with friend
