My mum had an afternoon tea to celebrate my grandma moving house. I was a bit worried as we've done this before and it wasn't amazing but this time it was! The staff were genuinely phenomenal, really patient and helpful as we had an extra person and had to rearrange tables. The afternoon tea itself
Came here for high tea. We had a groupon coupon for two. The pastries, scones and sandwiches were good and as per expectations. We had unlimited hot beverage included in the coupon which was amazing . We had to wait for a very long time to get the food which was a downside. The overall experience wa
I visited this shop to use a Groupon code for cream tea for two. We were greeted as soon as we entered, my voucher was accepted with no issues and we were asked which drinks we’d like and if we’d like plain or fruit scone. I was intrigued by their raspberry & coconut latte and wasn’t disappointed, a

Had a wonderful experience. I was served by a lovely man who was enigmatic in his appearance and gesture. There was a sense of mystery and foreboding. Service aside, the cakes were also wonderful. Well worth a visit
We went to Patisserie Valerie today as we had a voucher for afternoon tea for two. Despite being busy, that staff were very friendly and welcoming and we were seated quickly. The afternoon tea was delicious, we weren’t particularly keen on the finger sandwiches, but everything else was lovely. The s
We have been trying to use our wedding gift voucher for ages. We discovered the Durham location while staying local. Spoke to the lady on the phone who was working the afternoon shift today. She was amazingly helpful around our enquiry about picking the afternoon tea up as a takeaway. We arrived 3
Lovely place and I've had the best flat white in all the place I've been. Smooth and not too coarse. The breakfast was really good. Reasonable menu and price. The only thing, the waiter forgot the glass of water for my daughter. Overall I would stop there for my caffeine fix.
Called in as we were passing about 30 minutes before they were shutting. Coffee and Tea were excellent and the lemon and blueberry cake was delicious too. Staff were very friendly and helpful despite being busy.
On being seated was told there might be a delay for food as there was only one person in the kitchen. Appreciated the warning but didn't actually wait for long. The maple bacon pancakes were super tasty!
Very quiet. Just drinks, served quickly.
Covid Safe! Staff is always wearing masks! The food is also quite good, and the staff was friendly. The pastries and cakes are tastey, and fancy. Would go here for brunch/coffee/etc without hesitation. Many other places only do lip service for covid safety, but this one follows through!!
