Absolutely amazing food. I was shocked when I walked in to find a real coal fuelled fryer and was taken aback to a time when fish and chip used to taste amazing. The bloke serving was very funny as well. I won’t hesitate to call in again when I’m passing.
Absolutely beautiful 😍. Our 1st time visiting tonight and there wasn't a scrap left from any of the meals. We live 15 mins away and they were still red hot when we got home. A big thumbs up from us 3 here and now will be my go to chip shop.
Honestly best fish and chip shop around in fact the only one worth travelling to. If you haven’t been you must try it excellent

1st time we've tried here tonight and have not been disappointed will definitely be back, food arrived hot and curry sauce was lush kids ate nearly everything for once 😂 fab service highly recommended it, thank you

Fun to see the coal powered fryers after being featured on Michael Portillo’s railway show this week. Delicious food, I took Mum and Dad who are up from East Anglia on holiday. Loved it, proper trad and all the better for it. I had delicious Haddock, they both had cod. Real batter and tasty chips. T
