The Sticky Wicket - Durham - Photo album

Had two pizzas on the buy one get one free offer on a Thursday and also a portion of loaded fries. Food was fabulous and pizzas absolutely loaded. Staff probably the most friendly I've experienced, tall bloke with a beard was very kind and helpful which makes the world of difference. Red hot sat ou
We came here for a meal with friends on a quiet day for the ground after an appointment. The venue was quiet which for us was ideal as some of the party are neurodivergent and struggle in busy places. The food was demolished by our entire group including desserts! I ordered a light bite bean chilli
Nice bar, reasonable pricing for drinks. Food OK but portions quite small. Really nice decor but the toilets could definitely do with being brought to the same decor standard
We had our engagement party at the sticky wicket, we hired out the entire place and paid for a buffet. I couldn’t recommend them higher! The staff were so approachable and friendly, even gushed over pictures of our new puppy! They went above and beyond to accommodate our 150+ guests and everyone has
Popped in on the 24/3/22 with my partner and 6 month old son, drinks were lovely my partner and I both had cocktails that were 2 for £12 so would’ve been rude not to!! Food was absolutely fantastic plus any leftovers we had we got to take home with us which is a bonus, great service, really friendly
Really nice place, only stopped for a quick drink whilst waiting for football but the Sunday dinner served to the next table looked and smelt lovely
Called ahead to order food (Sundays dinner) very helpful staff. Food arrived very quickly and was delicious.
Great place and location, plus can order drinks via your phone. Dog friendly as well.
First experience in this venue, and I was extremely impressed with the facilities and the staff, a First class establishment, with a great night of cricket
Great place for a interval pint, need to sort reception of tv out though!
Popped in while daughter was training for bite to eat, drink, and watch Eng vs. WI. Lovely, welcoming staff. Noticed the midweek hot beef sandwich and fries for £6. It arrived and instantly knew I'd made right choice. Thick chunky beef (was more like a steak!) Beautifully cooked hand cooked chips, p
Food was very good and service was quick will try again
Went for dinner last week for the first time and I was completely blown away with how good the food was. I ordered the sweet chilli chicken wings, they were the best I’ve ever had. Juicy on the inside, crispy on the out side and I love that the sauce was separate so I could choose how much I wanted
Good service and food and drink offers
Very enjoyable. Beer choice was good
This was our first visit and we both loved it. Excellent beef Sunday lunch would definitely recommend. Lots of fresh varied vegetables and three large slices of beef (perfectly cooked) We sat outside as it was sunny but inside is fab love the decor Will definitely be back.
I will definitely be spending more time here. The decor is great with plenty seating and they let dogs in! That fact I can bring my dog is massive for me so this is officially my new hangout. The food was good too, great portion sizes and a good selection of beers and spirits.
