Lovely place in Durham. Here visiting on a works trip and popped in here for an evening meal. Sat on the roof terrace overlooking the river it was beautiful. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. A definite visit if in Durham the food, cocktails and atmosphere here were all fantastic.

Very nice setting by the river and very nice food. The restaurant is nicely decorated and if you get lucky and have a window table, it adds to the experience. Staff are welcoming friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our steaks. Would definitely go again next visit to Durham.

Came here with a group of 20 for my friends birthday. Good atmosphere, however said we couldn’t order food as we’d only booked the table for drinks which was strange as I thought we’d be able to get food aswell. Cocktails were gorgeous. Apart from a hair being in one of mine, but I took it back to the bar and she happily made me a new one.

Food was good. Lovely views over the river. Not wheelchair accessible though, however they did allow us to eat in the bar rather than the restaurant, so we were fortunate that the wheelchair user could walk up the few steps necessary.

OK I have to admit this is my 2nd time at a Tomahawk steakhouse and the steak is good! We visited during restaurant week in Durham and the place is beautiful with lovely decor and wallpaper. Service top notch upstairs - downstairs I feel they could have told us the specials on drinks...example we ordered 1.5 pint of peroni and I wished they would have said hey we have 2 pints for 6 quid. The food was amazing and we can't wait to go back.

Nice place (upstairs in restaurant). Very good steak selection and great selection of sides. Staff friendly and professional. Unfortunately the ridiculously loud music downstairs put a dampener on the dining experience.

Popped in for a quick lunch so had a few small plates/ starters to share... wow! Incredible flavours! Chicken skewers, Korean fish bites, parma croquettes! Superb. Definitely worth checking out.

Beautiful spot to people watch and watch the river and the boats. The food was stunning. We just had nibbles, but something a little different.

Just popped in for a couple of drinks. It was a good choice. Drinks were very reasonably priced and you can sit out by the riverside for a relaxed atmosphere.

Very attentive for disabled people. Tradotional sunday roast is very taste, and very good portion size. Home made Yorkshire pudding. View over the river Wear. Nice background music.

Had a Ribeye steak, which was good but not amazing. Staff were friendly and the service was great. Overall meal and service were both very good. Downstairs a very different vibe from the quiet restaurant on the upper floor!

Lovely little place, great food and drinks, not on the cheap side but to be honest that's to be expected around Durham, nice view also - very chill.

Really nice food, been coming here for quite a few years. Staff are very friendly and helpful and Rich the manager is a gent. It's also brilliant on a night if you visit here on a weekend, lots of pints and cocktails to chose from! Obviously I will be back :)
