Very good quality sushi. We had a couple of take-away boxes - Vegetarian gyoza and duck set & Veggi Sushi set. Both were delicious and probably better than Itsu. Would definitely come back and try some different ones too.

Lovely experience dining here. The sushi was crafted to perfection and the wonderful staff convinced me to try out their new bao buns! They were so soft and such a wild ride of texture and taste. You can’t skip out on their bubble teas and they were incredible! The staff are all incredible, funny and helpful including the short one (under 5’4”).

The Sushi is okay. I am not a Sushi fan but if you want to eat something really quick this is the place. You don't have to wait for the food to be ready, you just grab it from a fridge and then pay. So no, the food is not that fresh but it looks good and the flavour is decent. The food price is moderate but drinks and desserts expensive. The place is tidy and clean, there is plenty of space to eat the food there as well.

The 2 girls who served us yesterday were so friendly and were clearly working very hard on a very busy day. Thank you. Great service great food and great drinks

We wanted somewhere slightly off the beaten track as Durham was very busy hosting the Brass Festival. So we walked over Framwelgate Bridge into a quieter area and found Nudo. We both had a Bao bun (£4) after the lady behind the counter explained what one was by showing how she made one. We had pork char siu and aromatic duck, both with teriyaki sauce. The bun part is steamed bread and is very light. The buns were delicious. The only fault we found was that the bun is served in a small box even if you opt to eat inside and you get no cutlery (not needed with the bun) and no serviettes despite the sauce being very sticky. However the wc was available to wash hands when finished. It's more like a cafe than a restaurant. We would definitely eat here again.

By far my favourite food place in Durham. I've gone to Nudo for years and they've been expanding their menu over that time beyond just sushi (though the sushi is definitely a delight). If you want a delicious Japanese style meal and service from super friendly staff then this is the place to go.

Normally I come here on my work lunch break for the sushi, but that’s all changed since they started making absolutely unreal ramen, hands down the best ramen spot in the city, actually spicy then you ask for spicy! Generous portions, cooked fast and served by the lovely staff. Unbeatable tbh :)

Lots of vegan options. Can sit in or takeaway. Slightly overpriced but the food was nice. They do bubble tea.

Lovely service today from Magda at Nudo Durham. They've got a good range of sushi boxes, hot meals and some rather delicious bubble tea which, with the current discount makes it even better. Wish there were more of these places around down south! Can't wait for our next visit....
