Nando's in Durham is a great place to relax and catch up with friends in a comforting environment. The food quality has been consistently good at this branch, which is always a plus. However, one noticeable downside is the increased prices across all branches, which is unfortunate.
The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, but it can get quite busy, as I experienced when I visited on a Wednesday evening around 7 PM. There was a queue, which was a bit surprising for a weekday. The staff, though, are friendly and accommodating. One minor inconvenience is that they encourage customers to order through a QR code, which can be annoying for those who prefer a traditional menu like myself.
On the bright side, the cleanliness of the bathroom was notable, adding to the overall positive impression of the restaurant.
All in all, Nando's in Durham is a decent dining spot, especially considering the limited options available in Durham. Despite the higher prices and the digital ordering process, it remains a reliable choice for those looking for a tasty meal and a cosy place to spend time with friends.
I attended yesterday 28th Oct 23. Was greeted and server by some young blond lady. Suck brilliant service by her, nothing seemed too much or a hassle. She's an absolute credit to your company, bravo young lady whomever you are. Food came out really fast ant there was a good atmosphere on the Saturday afternoon. Definitely come back, better than most of the other Nandos I've been too. 👏👏👏
Nando’s quality food served quickly with a smile, staff sat us immediately upon entry. If you want spicy chicken, it’s the place to go. Children’s portions are big!
