Brilliant place for food and drink, went there in August for dinner. Even though they were busy for the night and we were a walk-in of 8 (9 including a child) they accommodated us. I sent my apologies to the kitchen as an ex-chef I know what it's like. But the staff were outstanding and food was amazing. Cocktails we had were tasty too! Much better service than what I received from The Langley Park Hotel.
First visit here for years, although there were over 14 of us we were served promptly, waitresses were lovely and food was delicious. I had a chicken gyros with fries and was perfect. Will definitely be back to sit in the beer garden or the comfy sofas inside.
For pub food this was great. My t-bone steak was cooked rare and was excellent. Value for money re portions was also very good.
Very Friendly and helpful staff, I tried a couple of their new ales,very nice.
Steak and rib combo was fantastic. Great portions and well presented.We will go again A+ all the way

Lunch today.
12pm-5pm ...Two dine for £18.
We had mince and dumplings with mash, carrots, broccoli and cabbage... absolutely gorgeous.
Food was hot, Plates were warm ( we all know a good meal on a cold plate is a ruined meal) ...so happy days there. The dumpling is of the scone type and not the suet type. And is large!
The whole meal is huge so be prepared. The mince was excellent and of a high quality, extra gravy if required is of no extra cost and speedily brought to the table.
Service was fantastic and swift.. all done with grace,charm and big smiles. Nice to see staff who genuinely care about their customers.
Parking is fine with extra spaces round the rear of the pub.
Nice interior pub style seating area but this pub has a wonderful conservatory which would be fantastic for family gatherings, etc.
But just a great place to sit. I would phone first and book it rather than just turn up as it's very popular.
The beer and spirits are very competitively priced so won't break the bank.
So...great food, great service,great venue and great value for money...you do the maths...

Visited on a recommendation, so glad I did, great place great food friendly staff. In my opinion compared to other local popular haunts, this place is possibly the best for the food and value for money. Now I'm recommending it to you.
Brilliant 👍😊 food was delicious, service was impeccable and they were even nice enough to smile and go along with my father in law's odd requests, like a full glass of just ice as well as the one with his Coke in. Price was spot on as well, definitely will be returning sooner rather than later.

I've had roast all over the world , this one was by far the nicest I've ever had, only had a small beef and it was more than enough.
Tasty plate licking food
Service a little slow but obviously everything cooked to order and because of this the food was excellent. Attentive friendly staff and great value.
