Had a fabulous family lunch today, food and service was fab, the kitchen was obviously busy and we waited a while for our food but we weren't in a hurry. I loved the fact they brought out the kids food first and early (without being asked) to avoid any meltdowns. Thank you, we will definitely be returning.
Had Christmas Day lunch today. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The food was fantastic and worth every penny.

My husband and I visited the Rose & Crown on a recent trip to England. They were close by our lodging and was selected purely for their proximity. What a marvelous bit of serendipity. I ordered the slow roasted pork and my husband the duo of lamb. Both dishes were completely sublime. The pork was tender to the point that you didn't really even need a knife to cut it even though it was thick. The sides were flavorful and paired perfectly with the mains. My husband says that the lamb roast was the best he'd ever had and the shepherd's pie was nice too. The service was also amazing. Andy was the best. He made us feel completely welcome. So much so that even though we were at the end of our trip we went back the next night (our final night) for a late night snack. The second night we shared the duck pizza. We had the best food of our entire trip at the Rose and Crown.
The pub is very welcoming and we was served quickly. Food was great. A couple of items were missed off my child's menu and was told they were coming but never turned up. We would return and recommend
My friend and I have just had a lovely meal at the Rose and Crown, after visiting Castle Farm. We hadn't been to either place before and it's been a brilliant evening. Andy looked after us at the pub; he was so kind and welcoming. It's refreshing to have such genuine and effort-full customer service. The food (pizza for my friend and a proper pie for me) was top notch and served quickly. I would highly recommend this lovely pub. The decor was also very nice!
Came here for lunch with family. They offer a 2/3 course set menu promotion and a regular menu. The staff here are friendly. The place wasn't too busy and we had plenty of space. There is also free parking on site. I had a chicken dish with cheese spinach & bacon. It was a little bit lacking on the spinach but it was a decent dish aside from that. The sweet potato fries were good. I had a dessert - a mini crumble which was also a good size & fresh. The person I was with had a salad & it was a generous serving size with a good mix of things.

Had Sunday lunch here today. Food was excellent, two roast trios and a roast pork belly. Superb! For desert - a couple of mini crème brûlée’s with coffee and a chocolate brownie. What not to love. Will definitely be back, service was great as well!!

We popped in for a really quick dinner and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The pub is so cosy and nicely decorated, the food was so lovely and we went for the 3 for £10 deal which was insanely reasonable! All recommended by Andy who did a lovely job of looking after us. We had a wonderful experience at the Rose and Crown for my sons birthday. From booking on the phone, to amending the booking on the phone to delay the table (we got soaked through and had to go home to change), to the actual experience at the pub, every touch point was very professional, courteous and friendly.
We enjoyed a family meal in a cozy spot, with excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. Our very pleasant evening was enhanced through excellent service from a chap called Andy.
Food: Starters we enjoyed a baked Camembert and for mains the buttermilk chicken burgers and the kids had pizzas. Nothing overly fussy but very tasty nonetheless. Decor lovely and homely and comforting. I highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of Sharon serving us tonight. Genuine excellent service. The whole team from the young lady behind the bar up to management made it a lovely dining experience. Atmosphere is so welcoming. The restaurant and bar is well kept and beautifully presented. My favourite place to eat wether we go for lunch or dinner. Just love it here 😊
