Great food, by far the best coffee in Sevenoaks and the staff are lovely people.
Highly recommended a visit or just a takeaway cake and coffee.
The shop is cosy, dog and baby friendly. Worth the wait if it’s busy.
Visited this lovely little place on a Saturday afternoon, warm, cosy, good choice of gluten free cakes- though no gf bread or pastries...the tea was leaves served hot in a pot with cup & saucer, I had gf banana bread which was delicious - definitely worth the visit to Sevenoaks
Visited here today and had the gluten free pancakes which were amazing! Also bought some cakes to take home. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Absolutely LOVE the Alice in Wonderland theme 30th birthday Danielle made for my sisters birthday. I can't recommend Eat 'n' Mess enough. This is now the second cake I had mad made and both have been brilliant! ��

Just sampled beautiful raspberry and choc brownie with proper loose leaf tea & watched daughter devour scrummy Yuletide cupcake and apple juice. Great service, lovely surroundings, definitely recommend a visit.
Fab place, great coffee, amazing bakes. My daughter knocked her hot drink over, which they sorted without a problem and even replaced her drink.

I have Celiac disease and it was great to have such a wonderful choice. We loved the food so much we even got a box of cakes to take home. Will be recommending to friends and family. Absolutely lush!!! Came here as a suggestion from my brother who lives in Sevenoaks and so glad I visited. The set up is beautiful and the staff here are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Absolutely spoilt for choice with sweet treats and food plus amazing coffee. However it is outside so make sure to wrap up warm if visiting in the cold :) Oh and dog friendly!
My favourite place to take a break when working from home, for me brunch or lunch. Food is great, best coffee around and super friendly. A really chilled atmosphere.
Today they even gave my dog Ted a doggy ice cream! 😂
The new covered area is very smart and perfect for people to meet or to take a break and just relax.
Danielle from eat'n'mess made us the wedding cake of our dreams. When beginning the wedding planning process, the first thing we booked was the registrar and venue, the second was the cake. Having been a loyal GF fan of the bakery for years, we were so excited to order the taster tubs for the cake and found it one of the hardest wedding decisions to make! We decided on a lemon curd tier and a salted caramel tier. From the initial consultation through to follow up, we have been constantly happy with the service, and of course the final product. Highly recommend eat'n'mess. Worth every single penny for the most beautiful, but most importantly, delicious cake. Will be dreaming of that salted caramel buttercream for months...

Amazing, beautiful, gluten free wedding cake!
Having coeliac disease I searched for ages trying to find a gluten free bakery for my wedding cake, to ensure I could safely enjoy my wedding cake with no fear of accidential cross-contamination. And my hubby and I were so pleased we found Eat 'n' Mess, as their bakery is fully gluten free. The whole process with Danielle was also brilliant from start to finish. She was so lovely to work with. Not only did the cake look stunning, it was absolutely delicious, and Danielle even went to the trouble of arranging a personalised wooden slice to be made up for us (for us to have as a keepsake from the day) - which was just the cherry on top. It was such a lovely touch getting to see this for the first time with the cake on the day. We've had so many complements about our wedding cake, and no one could believe it was gluten free. It tasted that good!
I'm already dropping hints to my hubby for my next birthday, as all the cakes and flavours are so good :)

It's also lovely to have found somewhere that as a coeliac you feel comfortable and safe to eat.
An absolute gem of a Cafe which has a lovely menu that will suit most taste buds out there. It is kid and dog friendly with ample seating and an undercover area when the weather isn't great. Seems like a popular stop for cyclists and walkers and the gluten free options serve well for the health conscious. I had the three cheese toastie which I must say was the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend.
Since discovering Eat’n’Mess we have popped there a few times and never been disappointed. The coffee is one of the best we’ve tasted. The location is brilliant and what they have done to the pod to make it accessible and cosy and just a nice place to chill out is great. The gluten free cakes and food are all delicious and the staff are super friendly and always happy to accommodate fussy children. Would definitely recommend to all.

This cafe comprises a large and pleasant outdoor space with a sheltered area, all with countryside and farmyard views . It specialises in good quality food that is also gluten free; there are gluten-containing options on all savoury items.
Awesome hot sourdough BLT and no gluten!!
In terms of dessert it offers a variety of gluten free cookies plus two or three cakes - their bakewell tart is unrivalled in my experience.
Beverages are served in paper cups as befits an outdoor cafe.

Eat ‘n’ Mess honestly created the wedding cake of our dreams. It looked so beautiful and was so delicious. We had a tea party on our day and our guests could not get enough of the cake. Danielle was so wonderful and helpful in the lead up to the celebration. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to the pandemic and Danielle was so kind and understanding until we finally got there. We cannot recommend Danielle and her team enough. The cake was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments afterwards.

I never pass through Sevenoaks without stopping at the Eat n Mess pod! Best coffee in the area, amazing cakes and dog friendly 🐾☕️🧁 Danielle & Matt are amazing, and Danielle did a stunning job on our wedding cake too! xx
After having driven by this spot several times and being curious to stop, I am so happy we finally did! They have a beautiful outdoor spot with nice wooden pallet furniture, blankets, and a section under cover if needed. They have chill music playing in the background and beautiful countryside surroundings. But the real treat here is the food and drinks! We had wonderful sourdough toasties with chilli jam (we want the recipe!!), which they kindly made without cheese for me, a delicious oat milk latte and the best hot chocolate I have ever had - dark and rich and creamy! We also couldn't help but get some sweet treats to take away: the cornflake brownie and a nice gooey cookie.
We will definitely be back, only a shame that I didn't stop by sooner!

As a coeliac I never through gluten free bakery goods were any good. Then I met EatnMess and I was proved wrong. Everything has been utterly delicious to the point we decided to go full gluten free for our wedding cake (and cookies). Danielle was great to work with from initial consultations she really listened to our ideas and made a real dream come true. Danielle made the full wedding cake process so easy from zoom calls, emails to the on the day set up it was seamless and perfect!
We decided to opt for cookies AND cake and so many of our guests have been asking where they were from because they were absolutely delicious. It was only when I said something people realised they were gluten free, which is a huge win!
I couldn't recommend EatnMess enough we have been repeat customers from birthdays cakes to wedding cakes and all the brownies in between! Everything we have had has been the best baked goods we've had (let alone the best gluten free ones!)
The pod is also dog friendly so we bring our puppy with us and she also gets all the fuss
Whilst they have many gluten-free and dairy free options, apart from one cookie, nothing else was vegan, which is such a shame and such a missed opportunity. My original rating was a bit harsh so I edited my review. The place is lovely and I would definitely be a regular. It is a shame that they don’t cater for all dietary requirements and just focus on GF and DF.
I've driven by the pod a number of times before deciding to walk 35 minutes from home to check it out. And I'm so glad I did! The whole setting felt wonderful on a sunny Sunday morning. Full of passing cyclist (VERY clever location choice!). And most importantly the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were super friendly. Great coffee too. Well done guys👍
Cracking cycling stop. Did not try the coffee, so can't comment (next time!). But the banana cake was gorgeous.
Our Wedding cake was amazing. Much bigger than expected and everyone keeps saying how delicious it was over a month after our Wedding. Most people didn't even realise it was gluten free. Thank you Danielle!
