A lovely welcoming tea room that does a proper pot of tea! Hot, plenty of milk, generous cups, with extra water.
Our table had a mixture of salads, pies and tea snacks. These included the largest Belgian bun I’ve ever seen. All well presented and served swiftly with a smile. All the better as t
They staff were welcoming and friendly. I am vegan and asked for just a sandwich and they were more than accommodating!
They made me a houmous, falafel and chilli chutney sandwich - it was so good! The bread was so fresh!
We sat in the garden which is really pretty and fed a visiting Robin.
What a l
Walked down from Dunster Castle on a monday and not much open; but found this tea shop with courtyard at back through an archway.
Raised area on synthetic grass but pretty as originally front courtyards to people's homes.
Small vintage shed shop back of garden worth a browse.
Quiet and Robins.. pied
Lovely little cafe near the castle. A wide range of vegetarian options with a nice outdoor seating space. I would return again
Beautiful and relaxed venue with a wonderful outdoor space featuring a very friendly Robin! Breakfast was top notch, high quality ingredients make all the difference. Visited multiple times during our Dunster stay and it was excellent every time.
A wonderful cafe/B&B in the heart of Dunster. George and the team made us feel very welcome during our stay. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable and we had great views of Dunster high street. A prime location for a Dunster get away.
A great menu in the cafe that runs through the day, there’
Lovely little cafe in Dunster near the castle. A wide range of vegetarian and gluten free options with a nice outdoor seating space. Good wifi and great customer service with clean toilets. We would return again.

Visited for the first time on 18th June 2023. Father's day. Had tea and crumpets. Good size portion with margarine and a choice of toppings. Had strawberry jam and marmalade. Good prices. You can sit outside on the street or in the garden at the back. We sat in the garden out the back. Get there by
Enjoyed Scones with Clotted cream and jam (£3.50) .
Especially enjoyed the Ciao coffee which can be purchased here but only as coffee beans.
Cloudy Apple juice was also good (£2.50) Sitting outside enhanced our good experience here.
An allergen-free mecca. I always have to make a stop here now when I am in the area. So many gluten free options- cakes, sandwiches, pasties, scones...I went a bit crazy ordering everything to take back with me when I first discovered it and it was all amazing. My partner, who has no allergies, real
Delicious home cooked full english breakfast made from local produce. Just the right size, perfect start to the day
Very nice lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. Friendly helpful staff and lovely little tea garden.
Only suggestion I would have is to put signs on the tables outside that food needs to be ordered inside. Heard several people asking the same question.
Sadly not accessible, so had to leave my wheelchair outside. There is one step and then you're into a very quaint little tea room with an excellent selection of cakes and a menu which offers a really nice alternative to normal cafe fayre. The cream tea gets a thumbs up (they warm the scones).
I can highly recommend this cafe - wonderful welcoming staff - coffee - and food - they did a takeaway salad for us which was wonderful 😋😋
Stopped here for something to eat and a milkshake, nice atmosphere and a good amount of seating. I liked the sandwich though thought the milkshake needed thickening up.
Our favourite cafe in Dunster, we always have lunch or a cream tea here when we are in the area, fantastic vegetarian foods
We weren't hoping to find many vegan options in Dunster but what a find this was! Many vegan options, delicious food, friendly staff and lovely cosy garden. A must visit!
