We called in yesterday lunch time and sat in the lovely garden.
The food was great and the staff were all very pleasant, they made us feel very welcome and made a fuss of our little Cockerpoo dog.
Would highly recommend this beautiful place.
Wow. Everything about The Cobblestones is lovely, the setting, the friendly staff, the garden, ... but it's the food! We had the lamb burger, lemon pudding, and rhubarb crumble (yes, two desserts) and they were each absolutely scrummy. We're planning a return trip. The garden adjoins the National Trust Dunster Castle car park which is handy.
The Cobblestones in Dunster is a well run place and will use again when visiting the area. It is also a place to meet other people. It was very spotless with personal service with pleasant staff. Forgot to add that their scones are the best ones I have tried.
Was one of the nicest roast dinners I had in a while! Amazing food, at a good price & a warm friendly atmosphere lovely people! Would definitely recommend to anyone. 3courses for 15 pounds can’t beat that. So please do go and try there!
Great food and great service..well worth a visit for the Sunday roast and crumble
Went there today for lunch with our learners. All staff so lovely and inviting. We all loved our meals and we shall definitely be back, such a lovely atmosphere thank you!
Had a blooming lovely roast here. The food was gorgeous and the service top notch. We will definitely be back!
We just had an amazing roast dinner and beautiful deserts pretty place, cosy and clean, very friendly stuff and lovely atmosphere...feeling spoiled for resonable price and will definitely come back
Had a fabulous Sunday lunch and pudding, and the customer service is second to none and how it should be unfortunately rarely seen these days, the ladies (sorry didn’t get your names) were so friendly and helpful, will definitely be back when next in the area
Thank you
Great value Sunday Lunch, excellent and friendly service - recommended on a visit to Dunster
Booked for a private function, was absolutely fab! Food delicious and yummy cocktails! Highly recommend for an intimate function. Thanks Theresa for a memorable evening
Lovely lunch, beautiful garden, fantastic service!
Delightful restaurant, good food, friendly staff. We eat here every time we go to Dunster. Highly recommend
Sensationally good food, a cosy atmosphere and a lovely owner, who makes you feel like you're coming home! Best place!
Fabulous food!! Everyone ate everything! Warm relaxed restaurant, with comfy sofas to either have a pre food drink or after dinner coffee. Thank you Dave for creating such scrumptious food, my family absolutely loved it!

Had such a delicious meal last night. And service was excellent. Our waitress was brilliant and had a great sense of humour too!! All round lovely evening.
We have been visiting Cobblestones for several years when we have our holiday in Dunster.
The food and service is always excellent. Had a family meal last Sunday - lovely burgers and Mac & cheese. I squeezed in a piece of carrot cake as looked so good - delicious. Then called in for a 2nd visit on Saturday before leaving Dunster to drive back to the Midlands. Had a cream scone and cappuccino. The scones are massive, warmed and one of the best scones I have ever had. I sat in the garden looking at Dunster castle. A wonderful end to our week in Dunster. See you on our next visit to Dunster.
Such a beautiful restaurant in the heart of our very own medieval village in Dunster. Staff are super friendly and the food is gorgeous every time. A stunning place, quite misleading because it looks small from the outside and then u go in and there's more space at the back also a garden for you to enjoy your meal. We will be back soon. Thank you for your amazing customer service we are super impressed xx
Enjoyed a sandwich at lunch. Beautiful inside, friendly staff lovely decorating and food.
We had a great lunch, the staff were great reacting to our children.
Food was good and reasonable. Seating in or outside and there is a gate to the Dunster castle National Trust car park at the back.
Very nice place for lunch, much bigger than it appears from the outside with really nice inside and outside seating areas. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options. My lamb burger was very tasty and came with a generous serving of chips and salad. Very dog friendly.
A super restaurant set on the high street within the beautiful medieval town of Dunster.
The food has lovely flavours, beautifully presented and very good value for money.
Recently, we have experienced a birthday afternoon tea and a really lovely three course Christmas dinner on Christmas day.
Lovely atmosphere and extremely friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. As I write this review, bookings are being taken for this coming Christmas dinner!
Thankyou. Loved it. Delicious food (seafood, chicken and vegetable platter), good wine, great service. Hope to be back some day. Outside in the garden on first sunny day.
Absolutely the best place to eat in Dunster, dog friendly which is really important for us and the staff were all extremely helpful. Delicious homemade food at affordable prices.

Cosy cafe , good soup and pasty.
Charming place for late lunch in Dunster village. Had the homemade soup choices and they were really good. Thanks
Great service and dietary requirements. Lovely cream teas. Would recommend the gluten free scones.
Duster is a truly beautiful place to stop off. The biggest issue is that to many people do not give it enough time. Get out to the back streets and explore. When done, stop off at the Cobblestones and try the amazing cream tea. I promise you that you will never regret it. The scones are so fresh and still a little warm. The Jan and cream are locally sourced and you can tell as they are superb.
This is the second time I have stopped here and it will not be the last. The ladies that run this establishment truly give 1st class service.
Lovely helpful staff, fantastic light scones, and comfortable friendly atmosphere.
Will definitely go back
Love Cobblestones' garden, which you don't expect from the front at all but is really much bigger than you'd think, and absolutely gorgeous in the sun. Last visit was for a drink on Mother's Day, and it was as joyous as ever. Didn't eat this time, but have eaten in the past and it was excellent food too, with locally sourced meat and cheese if I remember correctly. Situated on the High Street of one of Europe's best preserved medieval villages, you couldn't really ask for more!
What a find.. Only thought it was a small cafe at first but on way to the toilets, wow, it's so big.. Roomy, comfortable with seating, settees, armchairs, table and chairs etc.. And out the bank its just heaven.. Expecially on a sunny day.. Its amazing.. Dog friendly too.. With views of the castle from the garden out back.. Highly recommended place..
We always try to eat here at least once when we are in Dunster, the food and homely service is consistently nice and reliable. It can get very busy very quickly so make sure you book, it is worth it!
