Staff very helpful even though was mad busy for them. Room was very comfortable. Central heating wasn't working so an electric heater was provided. Food in the pub was what expect from hungry horse and arrived in good time. Has a decent size car park but if your driving anything bigger than a long wheel base van you will struggle to park. Most roads in area double yellows so could be issue with getting parked. Overall a comfortable stay, again staff super helpful and a credit to the place. Many thanks.

Very friendly staff behind the bar. They're always happy and helpful. We especially love Christine who serves our lunch. She's always friendly and has a chat with us. Thank you

My self & my wife plus two more people stayed at the highwayman on the 1/9/2023 until the 3/9/2023 the staff at the pub where very friendly and the food was quiet good the only thing was that they did not have some of the stuff like cheese and also no pineapple rings for the gammon but they did tell us when we ordered so at least we know the staff where very pleasant and well presented the rooms could do with some decorating and they were very warm could do with some air conditioning or maybe a fan would definitely stay there again
